When you mentioned your trip to Fontaine, i thought back to a few weeks ago when I did the same thing, and got distracted JUST as much, but right before exploring the dessert, i realized that for some gosh darn reason, i already had a travel point in Fontaine... so i just teleported from Sumeru to Fontaine...

Pretty sure you have to complete Archon Quest Prologue, Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom befor you can go to Fontaine
@@Silent1fdpretty sure completing the archon quest just unlocks a waypoint there so basically u can go to Fontaine at ar 8 it would just take forever to get there

@@TkGame_Editshuh…I must have gone super early then. That didn’t happen for me when I started a month ago ^^” I must have started my journey to Fontaine when I got ar locked during the Mondestat archon quest and impulsively decided “I wanna unlock the whole map!”
Polite warning. Even if you wanna reach and start the Fontaine Arc main story, it literally has DAYS of playthrough to reach rhe threading scenes and tear jerking conclusion that made everyone CRIED 💔
Even more so if you're going to start the Sumeru archon quest main story ( a week or 2) to understand what they would eventually discuss by the end of the Fontaine story.
A LOT of theories were SHOT DOWN by the lore bombs od the Sumeru main story which include the Traveler and Paimon are gods.

My sister got me back into Genshin after I tried it on mobile. The game itself is beautiful and since I hadn't gotten far when first trying it and getting to see Liyue for the first time was amazing. My favorite character is a toss up between Al Haitham and Neuvillette. This isn't even just from a gameplay standpoint. I love their characters and you spend so much time with them in the story that I really enjoy it. My favorite nation is by far Inazuma ironically enough because I love the design of the area and the idea of the various islands. And as someone who does draw in their free time I love the designs of the characters and how unique they are. Also I agree that the side quests are fun. You know what they say, when the world is in imminent peril you do side quests.
The Genshin addition is inescapable, but the world is so beautiful!

The worst thing about Genshin is that its GOOD. Like great even. The characters are for the most part very 3 dimensional with quirks that go above and beyond just what their story arc is. Genshin does the best to make their characters as 1 to 1 to a regular person living in the world as they possibly can which makes them so much more relatable than a lot of other characters in Gacha games who are usually just waifu bait.
Not Hoyo going after the animation community to get them addicted 😭😭

I feel like I’m watching a video three years ago lol. I been playing since Day 1 and I’m still enjoying it very much. Glad to see someone else enjoy this too.
And yeah I don’t cry much when it come to games, but that one event with the robot I cried my eyes out. I think it’s because I have a son myself and even since I became a parent anything that involves the bond between parent and child tears me up easier 🥺😭
The grind after world level 7 is rough. Enemies feel like damage sponges, even if your character amd other attributes are maxed out.
OTOH, once you get the game off Elemental Reactions, you'll be annihilating practically everything in the upper world before they can tickle you.
But until you get to that point, there's little that can really stand against Lisa loaded up with Elemental Mastery gear she just swapping to her after someone applied Pyro or Hydro on the character. That, plus the 3 star Magic Guide weapon let me casually shred past pretty much everything in Inazuma whole everyone else was freaking out about how buff and annoying the samurai and specter enemies were.
Man, this is really quality design! I like your long form videos, hope you get paid to do them more often.

I love videos like these because they're what got me into Storytelling TH-cam videos to begin with. LOL, funny enough it was one of these videos that got me into Genshin too because like others I avoided this game for well, about a year. Now after playing this game off and on for over 3 years now, I am still enjoying it. I am not addicted to it (thank God), and I am still a strictly Free To Play gamer due to the fact that I am of limited means. Fontaine is definitely my fav area because of numerous factors (and I haven't even done the main story quest).
Also it's nice to see another player like me who'd rather be over-levelled in order to make the gameplay as easy as possible lol. Love your art style btw. I take Zhongli is your main Husbando lol?
My main Husbando is my main char I am playing atm lol- Alhaitham. But I am a huge XiaoLumi shipper too lol. That Lisa quest with the late books had me laughing my head off because I'd be like Lisa too when it comes to late books lol.
I started genshin several month ago and your video really made me laugh,
same as you the trip to fontaine was ... a lot, and I was a little stunned by how gorgeous the game looks.
A thought for all the viewers that won't be able to find the cute little mech penguin and its tragic story and might not understand that part since it was an event that is closed for now.

Idk how but I didn’t go through sumeru desert on my way to Fontaine. I was bored and wanted to experience this thing everyone was talking about and just walked through the forest and climbed a few mountains and then I came upon a cliff near some boats and I just amazing view of the city. I hopped down and ice bridged over the ocean to the dock. And ran to the first waypoint I could find.
You were standing in the desert when you had the view. It is currently impossible to get to Fontaine without setting foot in the desert

Also, if you think Lisa is flirty, wait until you meet the perfume shop owner in Liyue. She's Parr of a main story quest, I think

Normally a game like this would have me hooked but i lost interest after a month. That was 2 years ago.
Im a very outside the box thinking kind of person and genshin is a game that doesnt really allow that 😑
When I played it at first I lost interest after 2 month then I got back again and became so obsessed I never stopped playing for 3 years... For some reason the 2nd time u re start playing it it becomes even more addictive
Luckily enemies scale with your level so there are no real areas where enemies are over powered. So feel free to unlock the entire map before even finishing Mondstahdt. Except Inazuma since that's hard locked.
The overdue books quest? Lisa was said to...
1. have only wished to get her Vision... for her to get it
2. was once considered a potential member of the most powerful circle of witches in the world: the Hexenzirkel
3. is actually incredibly scary when you try to mess with her.
#3 goes to her in-game combat potential, too. One of the few characters to remove some DEF from enemies, her Skill is a slow-charge but when it does, it's a literal nuke.
with a shield and C6, swap her in can immediately nuke, but she hardly appear on any banner

This is an episode that we don’t want but needed but fr fr enough ppl make ads and stuff on it tbh a little to many now but you can’t excuse it’s beauty like it’s one of the most pretty and beautiful games I played compared to hogwarts legacy I recently played this takes first also the world combat I would prefer hogwarts but then 2nd in combat would go into infamous games but LIKE FR IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL I just can’t haven’t made it to Founaine like I don’t wanna regain all my progress for *unknown reasons* but that’s basically the sum of it but if anything the forest is my fav location so far and the caves in it it’s just so precious welp y’all have a nice day/night wherever u are ✌️ 😃

which total at least 100 hours of story that are not part of the main story?
Most of these world quests don't require you to have done the main story.

Yeah.. I can agree as someone who plays Genshin. Why won't they talk about the RESIN and how the weapon banner is a SCAM and how new players getting Inazuman characters is pushed for, until you realize you can't even get their ascension materials until AR 32 or 31- I know they're like paid to only really focus on the lore, but anyway - I've heard whales say that whaling is actually a bad idea
