I think that if people thumb-down a video, they should be forced to leave a reason why. This is a fantastic video and pattern. Thank you.

I made this for my little sister and it turned out soo cute🩷
The pattern says its for intermediate knitters but this is the first project i made and it was quite easy. you do have to know how to knit and purl though.
Tips if you want to make this scarf and are a beginner like me😊:
my yarn wasn't as bulky as hers and i didn't have big knitting needles like hers but casting on only 24 stitches would make the width really small so i just added 4 knit stitches at the beginning and end of each row. For example: i casted a total of 32 rows, adding 8 more stitches to the original pattern. if the pattern says knit 2 at the beginning and end of a row, i would knit 6. If the pattern says knit 6, i would knit 10. And everything else on the pattern is the same except for the 4 extra stitches at the beginning and end of the row.
This way, i made the scarf wider without any other changes on the pattern and it turned out beautiful. You could add more at the beginning and end of the original pattern if you want wider scarf😊
Also, the video says CR3F in 9:55 but its actually CR3B. I was a little confused because of that. But everything else was easy.
And she says that you can "knit the knits and purl the purls" when you're doing even rows. If you don't know what thst means, she's saying that if you see a knit stitch, you knit on it and if you see purl stitch, you purl on it when doing even number of rows (except for the first and last 4 stitches. You always knit on the first and last four stitches).
Also, the knitting the knits and purling the purls rule doesn't apply on the 14th, 16th, and 24th rows.
Thank you so much for making this beautiful pattern and making it free with a tutorial video too😊❤

I used this cable pattern to make a scarf like this for my mother last year, she loved it!!! Can’t use it that often cause we live in Texas, but it sure looked pretty!

I started my Cable Heart scarve tonight... Initially I found the pattern very intimidating, however following it step by step, row by row I found it very enjoyable! And so far it has emerged absolutely beautifully.
Thank you so much for this beautiful intriguing pattern! ✨

Thank you for providing this video! I'm working with a yarn that is thinner about half the weight as you used. Would doubling the number of stitches for everything work including the cables?

Do you have a pattern with maple leaves instead of hearts. Would really love to knit such a pattern

Do i have to waive in the tails that are left out after adding another ball of yarn? or can i just cut them and waeve in the tail at the start and the one at the end of the scarf?
also what kind of technique do you suggest in this kind of pattern to make it less noticeable?
i saw a couple of videos that explain ho to waeve in as you go but i already finished making the scarf so i cant do that...
(the scarf is beautiful thank you for the video and the online pattern!! helped me a lot while making my first scarf)

Thank you so much for the lovely pattern and helpful instructions. I am working on a shawl with multiple heart pattern. When I reached half the length I found out a problem. I should change the direction of interlocking hearts so that it wouldn't be upside down on one shoulder. Unfortunately I couldn't find the way of changing the direction in your video😢

I am making this scarf 🧣 as we speak (LoL) and I love it so far, it is different and difficult but I still love it. I always love a good challenge. But I want to bring something to your attention, in your video the final cable stitch CR3F (P1+K2) confused me because on your printable knitting pattern it's called CL3F and I was so lost for a hot minute, but I figured out the problem. I think you made a typo on your printable knitting pattern. Just letting you know. I love your videos and I can't wait till I see my end product of this scarf 🧣. Wish me luck. 😊

Hello, I have to say I have been watching your videos for a while and have purchased your pattern books and absolutely love them!! My question about this pattern is, could it be made into an infinity scarf? And if so would you have a pattern to make it an infinity scarf? My niece would just love this pattern as an infinity scarf ❤☺️

Question: does it have to be super bulky yarn? Like could I use a gauge 4 yarn?

    • @studioknit
      @studioknit  5 ปีที่แล้ว

Sure! It will just be a thinner scarf. Give it a try!

Thank you for all your videos. I have enjoyed them. Cables being my favourite. I have one question. If I want to do this in two colours, on which row do you suggest I change colours. And if two or just one colour would look great.

Hi, tutor. you Strat the cable after 8 stitches, right? and I lose in CR3B after you said C4B twice, does that mean in this row repeat or next right row?thank u.

What does K2, K2 mean? And what do the things like C4B mean? I have never followed a pattern without being shown how to do it nor have I read a pattern. Just some tips on understanding the instructions would be nice.
