The ball will round out after a bit if you keep it inflated. Were you surprised by how light and 'sticky' it is? The passing style has changed since I played. I was a scrumhalf so I passed the ball a lot and I never once threw it point first. We used to throw it so that it stood upright. Doing that made it so that the spin would naturally cause the ball to rotate toward your body from your hand. The old release was executed a lot like shooting a free-throw (BB) except the arm motion is across the body. Pass with the fingertips, not the hand. 'Grats on all the swag.
