Thank God my viewing area is non-carpet (music/movie sound's worst enemy - especially in-home) and very intuitive to operate. And with the Atmos you are IN the Theater!!! It's amazing, you could swear you were in an AMC theater! I use a 4k Amazon Firestick exclusively and we are thrilled with this purchase!!! The next week my brother could not find this in his area and ordered one online at Walmart. And they delivered it 3 days later fyi, I'm not seeing them in the stores much anymore either.
I bought this sound bar.. it sounded awesome then 1 day it made a popped sound would not take anymore sound source thru the hdmi port. It was 2 weeks old I took it back and went with a sony..from best buy..

I've had this soundbar since March 2021 and it-s pretty good for the price. One bad thing about it for me is that it won't work with the ARC hdmi input, but I have it plugged in my 4k bluray player and the player to hdmi 2 and it works that way. I have to use optical for Disney+ and HBO Max, because my 4k bluray player doesn't have those apps.
Do you have to use the ethernet cable to update the soundbar or can it be done wirelessly. I tried calling ONN to find out (prior to purchase), but discovered there is no customer service. Their phone # is for tv support only. The # they gave me was another ONN department who didn't have nothing to do with the sound bar. Then called back and got a 3rd # which was walmart who was clueless about the sound bar.
I bought today the 10 speaker version. Im waitng to wallmount it below my uhdtv , I did test with avatar 2 and sounds great, great ambient sounds , and The Batman....ufff ❤
Long E on ethernet like "eethernet". NIce review. Very professional sounding without being boring. If you still have this setup, try corner loading that sub by placing it behind the tv stand.

I got mine refurbished, which was a mistake. It wasn't in an actual box, and was missing cables. But that's not a big deal. The big deal was that the subwoofer had some gargling noise coming from it, and there was no low end bass. There is a cut in/cut out at the low end which doesn't come through when someone speaks with a heavy voice. The big booms sound awesome on the sub, but not very intricate.
Just picked this up today what’s the best way to hook this up using a Samsung/nvidia shield Atmos supported? Also occasionally listen to Spotify from my iPhone.

So this soundbar does not do Dolby vision pass-through correct? I had my new apple TV 4k connected directly to the soundbar and it didn't work with Dolby vision on. Just a black screen. There's no otherwise way to get atmos?

Yes u can but you will have to connect the sources audio that is playing the atmos movie directly to the soundbar or receiver. So you’ll basically be only using the tv for video not audio

Just bought this soundbar the other day and everything works great! The only issue is connecting to wifi. Soundbar is detected by my router wifi as unsecured but that's as far as it goes. Home app doesn't respond/recognize the connection. Any thoughts? Thanks!
I bought the hisense Dolby atmos soundbar with the rear speakers and it never produces any atmos effect but with the rear speakers I got the,surround effect but every time I go to Walmart I try this onn soundbar and even at the heights of the roof in Walmart I actually get the effect I've been looking for. Now in 2024 the bar is at 150$ and I think I'll pick it up.

I'm struggling to find any info on the rear sound. 5 channel has long implied FrontCenter, FLeft, FRight and RearL and RR. Does this sound how give illusion of RL and RR all from a front sound bar??
Stay away from Sonos. Sure they may seem great but they don't support a lot of sound types. Meaning Sonos from what I researched only does Dolby Digital and some other sound mode. And Sonos doesn't do Bluetooth only wifi. So if you want a soundbar that does Dolby DTS or Dolby Atmos or other Dolby features then stay away from the Sonos because Sonos soundbars from what I read don't have those sound modes. But some Vizio soundbars have those modes I believe.
I have the new one today, but it is not turning on, when i am trying to on it by remote control, only welcome will appear for 2 seconds than the red light is going on for the long time in soundboard, I don’t know how can I fix this, can you please help me?

If you get the wireless kit with it, it's the best choice but out of the box unless you want to use alexa with it, i don't think it's 100 dollars better than the onn. The onn is really impressive. If you go Samsung, get the wireless kit somewhere down the road

Mine will randomly disconnect mostly when turning volume down I lose all audio. I have to cycle through the 3 hdmi sources back to ARC for sound to come back. Also starting youtube videos I get a terrible audio feedback sound that instantly goes away.
I have heard this at Wal-Mart and I was impressed with this system. It is not for me but I have a really nice system. For normal home theater this aint bad. This was not made for jamming out. It was made for watching movies and it does a good job.
Yes. Sound quality is close. Id say the vizio will sound slightly better because the sound bar is better. The speakers in there do a little bit better with the Midrange
My TV only has the HDMIarc. But you need an hdmiEarc for ďolby atmos. Can I get a blue ray player in order to enable dolby atmos from the soundbar? Would a Playstation 3 work?
With regular ARC you should be able to get Atmos from your TV's streaming apps that support it, as their flavor of Atmos is lossy DD+. Anything else should be connected directly to one of the soundbar's three HDMI inputs -- an underappreciated feature of this unit (most soundbars have one HDMI in at most).
So my question is, and forgive me if I'm being dumb if you've already went over in the video is, does it include a 2.1 HDMI cable for eARC? Or would I have to buy a high-speed cord? That is literally about the only thing keeping me from buying it.

@@tampametal 1.4 and higher. 2.0 and 2.1 are the standards right now as we slowly move to 2.1. You really can't buy and hdmi nowadays and not get a 2.0.
What does it mean when the red light on the bar is flashing and the white light next to it is like - - Its working, after bout 15mins of me messing with it. Still has flashing light and stuff.. Ive had it for about 2 months working fine. Then it just stopped. Got it back working but not sure what the lights mean
@@Kpaceguy it ever just quit working on u? I have mine HDMI arc.. Then my Roku is on HDMI 3 on the TV. I was able to play music off my phone from BT but no sound was coming off the HDMI.. I had to restart a few times and unplug replug took like 20 mins to get sound back.

I would admit the soundbar when you tested it sounded pretty dang good 👍 I was impressed with the atmos sound clips you played on your other video I wonder if this could have the same sound quality as the Vizio's minus the Vizio having the rear surround speakers sounds like it has the same quality as the Vizio's as far as the front stage goes what do you think?

This was a cool video. I've had this bar for a little over a year, and I agree with most of what you said apart from the subwoofer. But I also prefer overpowering bass so it might just be a difference of opinion. I've been in Walmart lately and this soundbar is STILL over $300, so clearly people are buying it. My only advice is that I think this video could easily have been 10 minutes. Gotta tighten up those screws! But other than that great presentation.
Kpace summed it up perfectly at the end, if your looking for an upgrade to your tv speaker, sure why not. Outside of that, please people, get a dedicated 5.1.4 atmos set up if you want to experiance proper atmos or and great quality. No soundbar on the planet will compare.
There are three flavors of Atmos depending on the underlying codec: DD+ (lossy, generally from streaming sources), TrueHD (lossless, from Blu-rays), or Dolby MAT (uncompressed LPCM, from Apple TV 4K, Xbox One X/S or certain Nvidia boxes). Atmos over DD+ can use regular ARC; the other two require either eARC or a direct HDMI input connection. This soundbar has three HDMI inputs in addition to eARC; most soundbars have no more than one HDMI input. So even if your TV is regular ARC, you should still be able to get Atmos from the HDMI inputs or TV streaming apps (which are usually Atmos over DD+).

The Sony doesn't provide any surround sound. Its just 3 speakers pointed at you with a sub just for better sound compared to your TV

It has all those channels inside the soundbar, but it relies on your walls to bounce sound behind and above you. which surprisingly does pretty well

how does the HDMI work, is there a single HDMI "out" port that goes up to your tv and then the rest are inputs that you plug all of your devices into?

My TV only has the HDMIarc. But you need an hdmiEarc for ďolby atmos. Can I get a blue ray player in order to enable dolby atmos from the soundbar? Would a Playstation 3 work?
Yes
With regular ARC you should be able to get Atmos from your TV's streaming apps that support it, as their flavor of Atmos is lossy DD+. Anything else should be connected directly to one of the soundbar's three HDMI inputs -- an underappreciated feature of this unit (most soundbars have one HDMI in at most).

So my question is, and forgive me if I'm being dumb if you've already went over in the video is, does it include a 2.1 HDMI cable for eARC? Or would I have to buy a high-speed cord? That is literally about the only thing keeping me from buying it.

@@Kpaceguy are u not able to get Atmos out of streaming such as netflix, Hulu etc? Ive been wanting to get this soundbar for over a month, but they've been sold out. I checked my local walmart and they had 3 in stock so I just ordered it.
You can get atmos and stuff stuff Netflix but I believe you have to pay more and your internet has to be a certain minimum speed

That's correct unless your TV decodes atmos then you can use ARC or eARC

@@tampametal 1.4 and higher. 2.0 and 2.1 are the standards right now as we slowly move to 2.1. You really can't buy and hdmi nowadays and not get a 2.0.

Its working, after bout 15mins of me messing with it. Still has flashing light and stuff.. Ive had it for about 2 months working fine. Then it just stopped. Got it back working but not sure what the lights mean
Mine does it all the time. I ignore it. Everything seems to work well
@@Kpaceguy it ever just quit working on u? I have mine HDMI arc.. Then my Roku is on HDMI 3 on the TV. I was able to play music off my phone from BT but no sound was coming off the HDMI.. I had to restart a few times and unplug replug took like 20 mins to get sound back.

I would admit the soundbar when you tested it sounded pretty dang good 👍 I was impressed with the atmos sound clips you played on your other video I wonder if this could have the same sound quality as the Vizio's minus the Vizio having the rear surround speakers sounds like it has the same quality as the Vizio's as far as the front stage goes what do you think?

I have the exact same soundbar and when I have it plugged in it would turn on and say "welcome", then would proceed to turn back off.

I got one and i am not able to connect my computer via bluetooth, my iPhone connects perfectly fine. It's only my computer. anyone else having this problem?
I just bought it to. Sounds amazing. But I have one issue. Mu subwoofer keep turning off! Any body knows what I'm doing wrong
How far away is it from the sound bar?
@@Kpaceguy its really close. Maybe 4 or 5 feet away. But the light on the subwoofer turn on and off then it turns off then back on

This was a cool video. I've had this bar for a little over a year, and I agree with most of what you said apart from the subwoofer. But I also prefer overpowering bass so it might just be a difference of opinion. I've been in Walmart lately and this soundbar is STILL over $300, so clearly people are buying it.
My only advice is that I think this video could easily have been 10 minutes. Gotta tighten up those screws! But other than that great presentation.

Kpace summed it up perfectly at the end, if your looking for an upgrade to your tv speaker, sure why not. Outside of that, please people, get a dedicated 5.1.4 atmos set up if you want to experiance proper atmos or and great quality. No soundbar on the planet will compare.

In order to get Dolby Atmos..you have eArc to eArc... meaning both the TV and speaker have to have eArc

There are three flavors of Atmos depending on the underlying codec: DD+ (lossy, generally from streaming sources), TrueHD (lossless, from Blu-rays), or Dolby MAT (uncompressed LPCM, from Apple TV 4K, Xbox One X/S or certain Nvidia boxes). Atmos over DD+ can use regular ARC; the other two require either eARC or a direct HDMI input connection. This soundbar has three HDMI inputs in addition to eARC; most soundbars have no more than one HDMI input. So even if your TV is regular ARC, you should still be able to get Atmos from the HDMI inputs or TV streaming apps (which are usually Atmos over DD+).
