Random Question @Jason Dornstar, I have been waiting for my Allen Edmonds shoes to come back from refabrication, but now they are telling me that it is not possible because of a "lack of coasters" whatever that means... Have you heard of something like this before? Always have enjoyed your videos, very relaxing and you do a great job.
That’s a good question. I can ask my Cobbler friends and see if they’ve heard that term before. I’m guessing that there’s lack of materials in the uppers or the welting itself to be resoled and stitched up again. Have you had them refurbished/resoled before?
@@JasonDornstar I have gotten them refurbished, and I got an email the following day I posted here, they said that there wasn't enough material to refabricate the shoe. To be honest, I am not much of a cobbler but I was under the impression that the Allen Edmonds would last a lifetime, I am very annoyed by all this right now. If you hear anything from your friends please let me know, keep up the great work and the Hank Hill impressions!
