So far I watched all Lord of the Mysteries trailer reactions I could find, it's not hard because there's not nearly enough! Reading this novel was one of the best experiences in my life. Inspired by things like the Cthulhu Mythos, SCP, Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTM is one of the best novels ever written. The world's power system is the best one in all of fiction. And the main villain is among the best written and creepiest ones there is. Just saying but you could watch the version with English subtitles... • It's not a blood moon. The moon is always red. • The language is fictional and called Hermes. • All the cards shown are actually Tarot Cards, in the English sub version of the trailer at one point the subtitles say "The Fool", the first card in the Tarot Cards. • Vampires and zombies, yes, but it's not the main theme at all.
Y'all just ran in to peak. The novel this is based off is amazing. It's like if you combined bloodborne and lord of the rings and turned it into an isekai with amazing world building, incredible characters that you both love and afraid of, mind boggling plot twists, the most unique and interesting power system I've ever seen, etc. If the anime does the novel justice, it's easily taking over.
The main character is one of my favorites ever. He's a very competent, introverted, loving, and yet very, very tragic and lonely man. I love him so much and wish I could give him a hug.
Surprisingly, it's also got its fare share of hilarious moments. Some very funny characters and moments in there, including our main character who loves to lampoon inwardly, though he rarely gets to show it due to the tragedy that surrounds him.
"Lord of the Mysteries" is a top-tier novel for me. The story is set in a Victorian-era steampunk world, with a touch of Sherlock Holmes-style mystery and the grotesque, horrifying charm reminiscent of Lovecraft. It’s a mix of blood, gore, and intrigue that keeps you hooked. The magical power system in this story is incredibly fascinating and always exciting to explore with every chapter." . This is a story about the powers of the gods that are shared with humans through a special power system called "Pathways." Each pathway brings both power and madness. But deeper than that, it's about the battles and power games of powerful beings (gods and supernatural entities) who use humans as tools or pawns in their game to control the world. The story is filled with mystery, complexity, and intense drama. The narrative follows the protagonist Zhou Ming Rui, who wakes up to find himself in the body of Klein Moretti, a man who had previously committed suicide. As he tries to find a way back to his original world, he gradually uncovers the dark truths of this world through the gods' games of power.
sinopsis : The MC who often suffers from bad luck tries an ancient luck ritual which ultimately makes him transmigrate into the body of a person who has just been a drunkard after studying a cursed book called Klein Moretti.
Hey ! There's some videos on youtube with english subtitles and it's normal that you don't understand what's going on. This is an absolute masterpiece of a story even though the first arc is off-putting for a lot of people since it's setting up the base for the entire world with alot of informations given to us. It's going as far as setting up a real currency and political system for every countries. We got confirmation that every episode will be more than 30 minutes long with at least 12 episodes for 5 seasons confirmed which would translate to half of the book (volume 4/5 out of 8) It has one of the greatest power systems in anything I've seen/heard of and changes genres throughout time. We got more than 10 pathways each starting from sequence 9 then sequence 8 etc with each of them having different abilities and needing a ritual to go to the next level. The fun fact here is that the higher you go, the more likely you are to become insane, so people that are your teammates today will become horrible monsters tomorrow. It starts off as a mystery/horror/police thing as we follow a team of policemen tasked to destroy evil beings in their city and it expands much more into an epic/horror/historical tale that knows no bounds. The secondary characters are very memorable since we get their point of views for a while from time to time. The main character uses his cheat to act as a god and make his own cult which becomes the main cast. The antagonists are TERRIFYING and bully the others throughout the whole show (they're here since episode 1 lol) Definitely recommend reading at least the first volume before the anime comes out.
Been reading it on stream and it’s been a BLAST. A lot of build up in the early chapters but I’m finally starting to see why people are hyping it up a lot. The series has a lot of world building from what I’ve read so far, haven’t gotten to the first fight yet but man is it GOOD!
This is a masterpiece and if the adaptation is done well. (as the trailers suggest).. 2025 is gonna be a BLAST (watching this again got me hyped to read all 2000+ chapters again damn)
Amazing reaction, LOTM is the number one webnovel oat. And it’s getting animated. The language at the beginning of the second trailer was created for the anime. It doesn’t exist in our world.
The card here is the main theme, its a tarot card. there are 22 major arcana card. So 22 path to godhood. Start from seq 9 to 0. Sequence 0 is the name of the deity. For example 9 - seer, 8 - clown, ... 0 - the fool. When you see the mc as a clown. The mc needs to do the acting to "digest" the power. You will see him act like a seer, then as a clown in this season. Vampire also one of path to godhood, with seq 0 - the moon.
Zhou Mingrui gets transported to the body of Klein Moretti in a Victorian era world with people called Beyonders who wield powers, and in order to survive in this world, he pretends to be a god. Without spoiling much, it has amazing world-building, a fascinating power system, a very interesting main villain(🧐) and plenty of plot twists. It's planned to have 5 (or more) seasons, with the trailer you're watching being the trailer for Season 1, which adapts Volume 1 of LOTM. (213 chapters) The first volume has a lot of slice-of-life in it, but the ending goes absolutely crazy. LOTM has 1432 chapters, and it is Book 1 of a trilogy, with its Book 2, Circle of Inevitability, currently ongoing, releasing 2 chapters everyday. (just concluded Volume 6🥳)
basically a guy wakes transmigrates to this world pretends to be a god while discovering the mysteries of the world where he can be strong and knowledgable enough to act as what hes pretending to be with some lovecraft inspiration. 2 the language the woman and the man where praying in is a made up language in that world and its not a movie is a anime/donghua
Just know this is one of the best fictional story that I ever read. Putting it at top alongside with lotr and the dark towers.
That sounds interesting
This is a trailer. It’s coming out next year season 1 will have 12 episodes each episode 35-40 minutes.
