Another great video Mr. Harris.
Just curious, can a position be held within a REIT under the umbrella of an LLC? And if so, I'm assuming there are unique pros and cons to that approach as well but I don't know.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your great presentations and please keep them coming!

Thanks Dad 😊
After 8:00 he mentions that the dividend is taxable. REIT dividends are non-qualifying, i.e. ordinary dividends. For this reason I have mine in my IRA as I can defer taxes. My investments that pay capital gains or qualifying dividends I tend to put in my taxable accounts to take advantage of the lower tax rates.
Do managers of the REIT still liable to those fees even if the fund is non-performing?
How is a private REIT different than a syndication? Or can they be the same?
I thought this was going to be a video teaching me how to start a reit
Self storage REITs are working for me
