This is racial, the fact you still think it isnt shows how far behind you are. You still dont understand what people make up a nation, what is culture, you probably know very little history. USA was at its peak when the country was 95% only 60 years ago, in one generation the entire country is unrecognizable. An entire race & culture has been replaced in their own home country, thats just the usa. Look at the UK, sweden, germany, the same thing. This is only happening in white European countries, DEI specifically targets whites constantly attempting to create less white spaces. White peoples homelands are being turned into economic zones instead of homelands with culture. The fact you still think this isnt racial shows how naive and behind you are and really you just need to either stop commenting on things or start learning

The harsh reality is U.S. tech CEOs took one look at the cost of American talent benefits, sick leaves, PTO, WFH setups, and unions and said, ‘It's getting to EXPENSIVE!’ Meanwhile, Chinese companies are crushing it with their low cost workforce. So, what do they do to beat their competitors, create the H-1B loophole to bring in ‘foreign exceptional talent.’ under the disguise of cheap labour. Take Tesla, for example. They’ve hired thousands of H-1B workers for their factory who get paid less, work holidays, and don’t ask for leaves. Exceptional talent, right? But here’s the kicker 80% of these ‘exceptional talents’ are out here doing entry-level jobs. Exceptional talent… or exceptionally convenient ? Make it make sense! 😂
Chinese wages have increased so much that companies like Apple are leaving it for India where wages are stagnant. China has far surpassed the US in housing, education, healthcare, and cost of living.
0:53 is completely not true for India. You can’t compare high income countries like China and Korea with India. Indians who are the best and brightest get forced to leave India because there is no ecosystem to provide them opportunities within India. It’s getting better, but the smartest people still leave because the standard of life and “king-treatment” they get in the US is a lot better than the ridiculing of innovation they face in India.

As an indian who’s living abroad, I completely agree with most of the points you guys discussed. Especially about the scarcity mindset. Yes it is very real. It is evident in all the former colonies who haven’t cut above the average threshold of sustenance. Poor governance, mismanagement, corruption after independence and massive slaughter and famines by the British, Mughals have left a very deep scar in people’s minds. 160 million Indians were killed in 40 years by the British. Which is more than 10 times bigger than what Nazis did to the Jews.
We were once a very high trust society too. And we are only beginning to recover. But also true is that those who come abroad aren’t the smartest or the brightest. We are average. The smartest are absorbed within the country. But we go abroad because of the fierce competition at our home. It is going to take another 25-30 years for us to contain our population by creating enough opportunities within the country.
But I am not really sure about the caste based discrimination part. I mean it exists. But mostly in the villages or the underdeveloped parts of the country. But basically non existent for the most part in the developed parts.
I think people should focus their hate on their own people responsible for this instead of people seeking opportunities for growth. Anger in the wrong direction. But also, I think this mass racist comments on Indians is the result of unchecked rampant racism on twitter since Elon took over x. Hence it’s not on any other platform. Pure racism in the name of free speech is not okay.
Americans are only being racist towards Indians because they know they can’t do anything about their own people responsible for this. So they take it out on minority, or the weaker sections of the society. Just the way Nazis did to the Jews.
to lelouche. Do you ever think or read about nazis , why they did what they did? Or about the Russia revolution, why did this happen and who's behind it? And what were the communists plan of the Soviet Union for Europe before WWll? No? What did communists do in the USSR before WWII? Gulags? Killing and slaveryng its own people? I witnessed the "scarcity" mentality when I spent a year in China 85'. At that time there was a rampant disregard for "rules", personal space and trust. Additionally 800,000,000 people over this period have been delivered out of extreme poverty such that the quality of life has dramatically improved with an abundance of resources.

the rate of STEM graduates is slightly higher in the US than it is in China. the problem in the USA is that those degrees are not utilized as US companies still choose to outsource manufacturing to foreign countries like China and hence the entire problem is one of demand and incentives.
US also takes college students from all over the world. For example CA Unis have huge overseas Chinese student populations. Many are STEM majors. That number of US STEM Grads is skewed and not digging enough into the data.
That can’t be true. The Asian countries highly emphasise Stem education, in those cultures the parents decide what the children should do, no free choice. How can a country with over 1.4 billion people have the same number of Stem graduates as the US with 360 million people, that can’t be accurate. China and India have the most students in Stem.
How many economists does America need to produce? Money managers make up a quarter of America's STEM field graduates. America produces mostly BS. The world is sick and tired of the trash coming from America.
Is this suppose to be satire? First of all, Vivek/others mentioned are from south India and probably more south Indian migrate to US then any other part. Also, if H1B allocation if increased that doesn't imply only certain Indian can come in - literally anyone above certain threshold can come in if they get picked out of lottery. You see more Indian/Chinese simply because large number of these students are studying in US and H1B literally have extra points if applicant studied in US. Also, India calculates population based on census which happens every 10 years(latest numbers are just estimates, no counting using digital IDs) and numb nuts - election in India happens over 45days not 1day. At best I could describe this podcast as poorly researched attempt at being racist.

As a South American, there is something that really draws my attention about the USA, and that is that it is a country where multiculturalism (with a tendency to form ghettos) prevails instead of interculturalism. You cannot say that one is right and the other is wrong, but it is an interesting phenomenon. In Argentina, immigrants quickly integrate and mix (even with the natives) and you can only distinguish their origin by their surname, but hardly by their appearance.
Social welfare programs keep immigrants from being forced to integrate. America before FDR and the welfare state also ingrated very fast. It's why you don't see pockets of Germans, irish, Italians and even Mexicans like the immigrants today. They were forced to chase jobs all over the country.

First and foremost, America is not an economic zone, a company, or a sports team - it is a nation. They try to shut us down by saying we’re the ‘woke right’ or pushing for DEI, but the truth is that we are nationalists, which breaks the narrative of the tech bro’s rootless capitalism.

As a Black guy I laughed at the fried chicken and watermelons joke. I always owned it, I love fried chicken and watermelon lol. I also told my chinese friend one day after work, that I noticed Asian people love fried chicken too lol. He agreed
I have always said it’s one of my favorite meals! 😂 Why should we be shamed and ashamed of our ethnic food? And I love my people, but I’m not wanting to live in “the hood” either. But sorry Kim, I smell AMAZING…even after all that fried chicken-eating 🤣🤣🤣
Unfortunately, being a white guy growing up as the minority in school, it wasn't jokes. It was mostly violence, but I still don't trip out over it and feel victimized. But I'm aware of certain situations that other people are not aware of.😅
Just had my Wife's uncle talking about this at a family meal. I hadn't heard of it yet until then. He is very pro-Trump and pro-capitalism, and is in private wealth management. I will say I am conservative and pro free market, to a degree. He said, "I know everyone is complaining about these visas for Indian workers, but where I work they would have to pay someone $300k, and the Indian visa workers will work for $150k... and work harder, and longer hours." Meanwhile complains about inflation, talks about America first, and the middle class disappearing. It's amazing how greed is the problem. They push the US being #1, and the fear of America falling behind. We have it ingrained in us to hate ourselves, not pay employees well, and be penny pinchers for the good of all, when we are finally realizing, it is simply an ingrained fear and greed from the oligarch capitalism machine.
I have no problem with the best engineers coming here but why do they need Citizenship? And why don’t they get paid the same? And why don’t these companies fund American citizens to learn ? So many questions
Why wouldnt they need citizenship?? If you were born in an overcrowded third world country, wouldnt you want citizenship in a wealthy nation?? Corporates need to fund your citizens to learn something?? Over here, in the third world, people know education is the only path to success. The government doesnt fund us to learn. You sound lazy and entitled.
If they are importing all top 1% engineers then we should force them to pay H1B recipients top 1% salaries in whatever field they are here for. Guarantee if you require them to pay that, then all of a sudden the top 1% H1B engineers go missing!
Correction from an Indian: Indians don't vote liberal, Indians are inherently conservative people. We have historically voted for Democrats in USA simply because we have been led to believe that Republicans are inherently racist. But ideologically, Indians have always been more aligned with conservatives.
Majority of indians I know in the US were voting democrats but as soon as they established themselves they started to vote republicans. But from the discussion I had with them, they always supported the fascist BJP in India.
Especially Indian Muslims. Many of my professors in the newly founded CMSC Dept. of UMBC, back in 1980s were from the subcontinent; very strong in math and engineering. They were usually grad students teaching us undergrads linear algebra, stat or calculus. They were superior to many of the tenured professors at teaching this stuff to freshmen. All through the 80s, 90s and right up to my retirement back in 2011, I worked for Asian managers, execs, team leaders. Super smart; all going to school at night for doctorates. I never minded having to compete with that kind of talent in the software engineering field, In fact, I felt flattered to be working with or working for such higher intellects. My last group lead (running a team of about a dozen who were re-engineering applications at SSA in Woodlawn) was from the PRC. His English was not very good,; but his superb design skills and critical thinking both made up for that.. Just because I was born here, shouldn't mean that I don't have to compete with other minds in a globalized labor market. I came to terms with the corporate globalization of western society, following a catastrophic failure of my belief or confidence in the reality of "America", as anything other than a commercial PR scheme. So I had to scale my expectations downward in terms of "American" values or identity. The people who failed my own personal dreams back in the 1960s when I was radical, were the American workers. They submissively rolled over for NAFTA, the GATT, the WTO. Especially their corrupt and self-serving "unions". Those old industrial unions have been superseded and replaced by the public employee and teachers and prison guard unions; here in our emerging total surveillance police state. It's the American working class, especially the blue collars, whom I mourn for. Automation will render most of them obsolete. As it will also many of the coders. The entire global division of labor will be mechanized. As humanity is progressively squeezed out of the picture, to serve the borg.
yeah, conservatives by mindset but vote Democrats for survival cause of being a minority. and then fund religious radicals in their native country. pathetic

Nobody talks about that, read about that or making movies about that! Why? Because the same people who own now most of media, global panking, Hollywood, music industry, western politics and you ever know what else. Maybe, maybe you understand nazis. Stalin wanted to invade Germany to protect local socialist-marxists after they started civil war in Germany. They protect their own country from global socialist and communists. America is a meritocracy. Work hard, put in your years and you’ll work your way up the ladder. Plenty of us do it everyday. And don’t assume the college debt. It can be paid off. Plenty of us did it. You have to drop the victim mentality. America wasn’t built on pity parties
100% - and that assumes American white men can even get ACCEPTED into a good college because they get locked out by foreign students who pay more, or DEI admissions with lower scores.
THEN after college any white man will be heavily discriminated against in the job application process, HR depts of ALL Fortune 500 companies are outright rejecting, or severely limiting the number of white mean they’ll even interview, for “diversity” or for nepotism.
If you get hired at one of these companies, then you’ll be passed over continuously for raises or promotions - one again for DEI reasons. My company for example, has specifically told managers to “help foster the growth of female engineers, and get them on the track for 1st line managers”.
The higher managers MUST comply with that directive, or they themselves will be in danger of being laid off, or having their yearly bonus or RSU’s diminished.
I work in tech, in one of the big Silicon Valley companies, that also has a ton of H1B employees, these are mostly entry level engineering jobs which Americans could easily do - these are the exact jobs which created the middle class in America - now Americans are locked out.

the rate of STEM graduates is slightly higher in the US than it is in China. the problem in the USA is that those degrees are not utilized as US companies still choose to outsource manufacturing to foreign countries like China and hence the entire problem is one of demand and incentives.
US also takes college students from all over the world. For example CA Unis have huge overseas Chinese student populations. Many are STEM majors. That number of US STEM Grads is skewed and not digging enough into the data.
So glad I didn’t mindlessly get pressured into tech because it’s clearly over saturated. There’s other fields out there.

I never minded having to compete with that kind of talent in the software engineering field,
In fact, I felt flattered to be working with or working for such higher intellects.
As humanity is progressively squeezed out of the picture, to serve the borg.
yeah, conservatives by mindset but vote Democrats for survival cause of being a minority. and then fund religious radicals in their native country. pathetic

6:11 just because you don’t call it racism, giving your limited understanding as a child, doesn’t mean that it wasn’t that.
I’m not ever hurt by the talk that comes out of people’s mouth. And I say that being racist doesn’t necessarily mean hateful. But I’ll let you know that anybody trying to be smart Alec and cute with their discussions about that will likely catch one easily.
its called tribalism. all humans are tribal. but society has sold non tribalism to the west. n they have bought into it. but not tge indians. tribalism is strong in indians. hence the asymmetry.
@@anonymous-bs1xb Not in Europe. The pattern is actually everyone is united except Europeans. I wonder why that is?
ur mistake barbarism for tribalism. not the same.
