We only have 2 "major" cities here. Anchorage is the biggest and Fairbanks is the next biggest. We didnt get a walmart until the mid 90s. We are so few and far between our walmart has a bush pilot system where we literally fly your groceries to your village on a tiny plane. Dont even get my started on the phone services here. Your phone will literally stop getting service if you drive 50 miles outside of the city and you can often go hours without cell service. Theres only been one serial killer caught here but you can bet your ass theres more with all the camping and hiking and hunting we do without any way to contact help. Plus the amount of places you can hide that body. Almost everybody here csrries a gun police will not be able to save you if you arent in city limits.

Immigrants need to be risk takers by definition. So it depends where you live. America has always had high immigration. Australia had convicts (high in risk taking) transported there for punishment. Both countries have several serial killers on the loose. Psychopaths have a low boredom threshold and will kill for excitement, money, prestige and power. We probably walk past a psychopath every day

I had a camp director who WOULD NOT SHUT UP about Rainbow Mantis Shrimp. He was weird. He had a lesson on taxes memorized and would recite it to anyone who asked.

Lobster's overrated imo! It's like an ocean cockroach. I find its texture to be kinda rubbery & its flavor to be... ok. It's not gross, but it's nothing special either.
I really think that everyone says lobster is so amazing, just because everyone else says it's so amazing. Because you're *supposed* to say it's amazing. When have you seen someone post a pic of a lobster tail & say that it was nothin special and/or overpriced? Lol. It's expensive so it's a brag item, it's associated with being high class, etc. In reality, lobster's not nearly as good as crab (imo of course), and it's definitely not worth the price. Crab is way more affordable , and way more delicious too, even wothout a tub of butter!!!
