- After almost 2 years of not running this category, I have a new world record speedrun! This run actaully beats the Speedrun world record in two categories as well, Perfect Game and Damageless.
No hits, no damage. The story of this run is simple. Jason attacked Camp Crystal Lake and was killed without the counselors having to get out the first aid kit. No kids died. No counselors (active or inactive) took damage. If this was a movie, it wouldn't make much money.
This speedrun world record will probably be the highlight of my time with Friday the 13th. While things like Low% (no items, rock only) and the Immortal Run (glitching Jason to give him 864 bars of health instead of the normal 96) are difficult, you can still make a mistake here and there without the run being over. With this category you have to be perfect. A better seed could improve this time even more, but we'll see . If there's something you'd like to see me try (assuming it's possible, things like a perfect game without Mark or Crissy can't be done as far as I'm aware), let me know in the comments!

I had this game as a child. I was born in the mid 70's, so that was a few moons ago. I played it a lot, but never got very far. I think I just enjoyed the music, and that I why I'd pop it in lol. When Jason would show up, I would panic, and end up dying after the second or third encounter with him. I don't think I ever made it to day two. After watching all of your runs, it kind of makes me want to start playing it again, now that I know how the mechanics work, thanks to you. GG, man!
Thank you, that's great to hear! One of my goals with the Advanced Guides was to break down the game in a way that someone who has never played it before could watch the series, and then pop in the game and beat Jason. Finding out he had a set path, or that he could be completely blocked on the lake, all of that stuff was mind blowing to me!
No idea how I ran into this run, but incredible gameplay and *nerves of steel*!!! An extremely stressful with brilliant execution on your part. Wow.

Jesus, nice run. Watching you some time ago practicing, when I had a chance to play the cart at a party, got to Day 3 for the first time and choked in one of the last battles. Yeah, my hands were shaking and sweating all crazy town. Of course it took several tries to get there as I don't practice. I just remembered some of your strats, not all. Didn't go particularly fast but when they work, damn good strats. Day 3 is brutal.

How did you kill Jason without pitchfork?
@@hhh123837 The torch does the same amount of damage as the pitchfork (1 bar of health per hit), it’s a lot faster though, so you can get more hits in on paths. You can kill Jason with any weapon, even stones, it just takes longer (5 stones per 1 bar of health)
