(Not a dr but have been dealing with medical stuff recently too, saw so many drs and no one checked my electrolytes) i’m curious if drinking liquid IV would help your energy at all, that and salt tablets helped me feel a million times better, praying for you, I know its frustrating and just feels awful to feel run down/ exhausted and then if you see a doctor to be told nothing is wrong. God’s got your back. Also love your little cabin mug! I’m drinking as much hot coco in thrifted mugs as I want this winter and not feeling guilty about it at all! I’ve learned that its ok to ask for help sometimes, my family is far but I talked to my mama and she said hey its OK if you need to hire a house cleaner every once in a while or just tell your friends you’re overwhelmed and need a little help with chores, and frozen meals are OK too. I love your house. It has character. And you have a huge front porch. I’ve wanted a front porch for years. And I still don’t have one. I had a big covered patio at the first house we lived in. But I haven’t had one since. I love your fireplace. I’m thinking we might be able to get an electric one. We have out tv on a shelf and built ins around it. But if we get a tv and hang it up we could put an electric fireplace under the shelf. I haven’t told my husband about that yet. I only decorate my living room. No one goes anywhere else in my house. I should decorate my kitchen some. You can see it from the living room. My dining room is really part of the living room too. I still haven’t decorated all my house yet. The tree is up and decorated and that’s as far as I’ve gotten. So don’t feel bad. You have three kids and my kids are grown with kids of their own.

Yes, although others may have a more is more esthetic many of them admittedly spend a month and have help. I enjoy watching all types of decor videos. From the over the top to the minimalist. At the end of the day, I still put out the things I love and my kids helping decorate the most imperfect tree, loaded with tacky ornaments from my husband’s childhood is still my favorite part of decorating. And I save so much money and most importantly time to spend making memories that will far outlast any decor or trends.
Dead mums, ornaments just lying on the tree branches, too short curtains, random candles in the hutch! Oh my gosh, Kristen I just love that you are so real!!! Some people's "perfect" homes just make me feel bad, like my decor isn't good enough. You show us that a home can be beautiful without spending megabucks and months of time to decorate! Honey do not apologize! You live in your home, with children and there's nothing to apologize for! You have A beautiful home, it looks comfy, cozy, warm and inviting. The glitz and glam homes are beautiful, but they just don't look as inviting to me. Your home looks just fine, not overdone but still festive! Honestly some of those homes I'd be afraid to touch anything and some just look sterile..i would rather be comfy!

Embrace the mess, if you don’t point it out, no one will notice. Your so called thrown together decor is spontaneous, you have a good eye, then realize how great it looks without overthinking things. Everything is completely charming! Never compare yourself with others, I’m sure if you asked them, they’d tell you your place looks better than theirs. Yes, although others may have a more is more esthetic many of them admittedly spend a month and have help. I enjoy watching all types of decor videos. From the over the top to the minimalist. At the end of the day, I still put out the things I love and my kids helping decorate the most imperfect tree, loaded with tacky ornaments from my husband’s childhood is still my favorite part of decorating. And I save so much money and most importantly time to spend making memories that will far outlast any decor or trends.
Dead mums, ornaments just lying on the tree branches, too short curtains, random candles in the hutch! Oh my gosh, Kristen I just love that you are so real!!! Some people's "perfect" homes just make me feel bad, like my decor isn't good enough. You show us that a home can be beautiful without spending megabucks and months of time to decorate! My dead mums are still in the planters on my front stoop and guess what ? I think they're staying there !! Don't feel like decorating them this year. After watching, I'm not left with the feeling that I'm not good enough or my home and kids aren't "good enough" like I am with so many other videos on TH-cam!
