  • What a lot of bricks! They will be useful in this video but not for actually building the platforms. Continuing this mini-series, this week’s video shows the construction of the wooden formers to shape the platforms for Linleys Station on the Linleys Garden Railway. Casting the concrete followed and then some views of the platforms in their initial incomplete state.
I hope you enjoy this video and, if you haven’t yet, please consider subscribing to the Linleys channel. More videos will be shared in due course.
In the meantime, if you have any ideas or suggestions for this station area, or have any questions about the Linleys Garden Railway, please drop a comment in the space below.
Thanks for watching, and, bye for now.
    Warren

Nice work Warren on the station platforms. The ol pesky rain always makes on rush. Look forward to seeing the next steps.

This station area is taking shape - about time as the main trackbed has been there for almost 10 years! Thanks for watching and commenting again. I appreciate your support. Cheers, W :)

With the amount of effort and work you have to do Warren it's quite imposing. Imagine the work load on full size platforms it takes them as well. Great project mate. Bushyboy Oz.

Ha, what a thought! Full sized platforms in my garden may need a full sized train! I wonder if that is even possible! Cheers, W :)

Always curious what people do for a living when I watch things like this.
    Will you use live steam?

Hello again, thank you for your comments. Nice to see you join my channel. I would like to use some live steam. I commented back to one of your other messages that I would like to buy a live steam loco when I retire. That won't be just yet though. Cheers, Warren :)
