So yesterday I came home after a hard day. (People can be intense)I saw your floss tube and was so happy that I could just sit and relax with one of my favorite flosstubers. I am so happy about the rant. I think people need to call out these fake virtue signalers. I am thoroughly sick of it in general. Grace is a virtue and so is love. Negativity is not. It’s time to challenge this kind of thing. I have watched people jump through hoops not to offend others and it’s just exhausting. You speaking out gives me courage to do the same. So thank you. Hi Vicky! I’ve been rewatching your floss tubes because I sure am missing you while you’re taking a break. I learned some more after rewatching your video on hints for stitching. I’ve been aggravated lately with the way my stitches look even after stitching for about 5 years now. I’m going to try and stitch like you stitch. Currently, I stitch in hand using the sewing method. Thanks for rejuvenating my stitching! You also do such a professional job showing your projects up close, you hold them up long enough, and you don’t jiggle back and forth and make me dizzy. I do hope your break is over pretty soon. 😊

When I clicked on your video and saw that it was over 2 hours.......well, it made my day!!! Your stitching choices, fabrics, and flosses have all opened doors for me. I am one of those monogamous stitchers who is fascinated by how you keep everything so organized. All of our brains function in different ways, mine just has to focus on one thing at a time, but I love, love your wips and I especially love that you want to finish your "ancient" pieces because even though i have only one of those, you have inspired me to try to finish it. Thank you for all you do to make cross sittiching and this community a better place.

Although I’m still watching. Want to tell you you gave me the courage to start really large projects on Adia. I stitched back in the 80s as a young girl. I started that cross stitching a couple years ago. I still like Adia and I love all the hand dyed choices. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. Always a pleasure to watch. I absolutely LOVE when you do a WIP Parade! FUN way to start the day! So many wonderful projects, inspiration, joy, & I’m so with you on stitch what you want, when you want! I’m not a good rule follower unless it’s my own, & sometimes not then either, so I haven’t set too many challenges for myself this year. I love all my chosen projects, my moods change, I buy new things, & I don’t want to feel like I failed at not completing something that I wrote down in December or January b/c I was so excited & literally want to stitch all the things; knowing full good & well I won’t meet every single goal. So, 2024 is for me a year of stitching what I want, when I want, too. I will always stay with you to the end. I love to see all your beautiful WIPS. I just went through some very old cross stitch tubs I found and have a couple of old Lavender and Lace patterns. I would love to find The Secret Santa pattern but won’t pay the crazy prices for it on eBay . Looking forward to seeing you finish some of those oldies. ❤

Hi Vickie! Happy New Year to you as well! I always enjoy your WIP parades. 🙂 I like how you just enjoy stitching and do not put pressure on yourself to FFO. I too have been cross stitching since the 1980's. I have always had a pattern by my side over the years. But once COVID hit and I found Floss Tube, I am no longer a monogamous stitcher. Haha!. I have now joined the cross stitch community and stitch more than one pattern. I am now up to 22 WIPS! Last year I had only 4 FFOs I'm happy and enjoy each WIP! Regarding your stance on the negative comment you received, I am in complete agreement of your reaction. Glad you said something and had your voice and took time to express yourself. Hopefully you don't hear back from that person ever again if he/she cannot be nice. Luckily most of your comments are positive. Focus on those positive comments because you are so LOVED! I loved your wip parade! It was amazing. I like all the projects and I love your ways of kitting the wips, the choices you made for fabrics and threads. I am also a "two over two" girl and I love Lugana. I usually stitch on linen, because I have stash of it, but, like you, I prefer Lugana and the way my sttches comes out. Don't worry about this one negeative comment. Some people are just so ... brainwashed! We're in for the stitching and we don't mind at all about words, ideologies, politics or stupidity... My tv asked if I was still watching as it was a long one! And I enjoyed your rant too, it can be easy to ignore virtue signalling or nastiness posted by key board warriors so it is important to stand your ground and not be cowed by someones misinterpretation of your words. Why anyone would think a comment would be derogatory is beyond me as you are sparklingly positive and always smiling. And hopefully your BP is back down with some calming stitching x

I so appreciate all you do on your channel. I love seeing your projects. Your love and passion for cross stitch comes through. Your projects are beautiful. I am so glad you went on a "rant" as you call it. These people who hide behind their laptop posting comments that are so negative are a special irritation to me too. Thank you for calling them out. I think we all need to call out negativity. We got into this craft for the happiness it brings us. You are awesome, so respectful and accepting of others, and yes they do not know you at all.
I loved your rant and all your videos, don’t ever stop. I am learning so much aboutt differnt fabrics patterns etc. I recently restarted to stitch and so much has changed so apprecIte that you stitch on a wide varity of fabrics and counts. I just finished watching your WIP parade - it was wonderful!! Kudos to you for addressing the negative comment. You couldn’t have expressed my feelings any better!! You needn’t apologize. I’m sure it must take a lot of your time to put together such a nice video each time you make one, and I’m sure many others watchers appreciate it Your projects are all beautiful and it gives me inspiration to begin many of my kitted up projects that are the same. The Lavender and Lace brought back many memories as I stitched back then as well. Keep going on them - you’re almost there!

I absolutely LOVE when you do a WIP Parade! FUN way to start the day! So many wonderful projects, inspiration, joy, & I’m so with you on stitch what you want, when you want! I’m not a good rule follower unless it’s my own, & sometimes not then either, so I haven’t set too many challenges for myself this year. I love all my chosen projects, my moods change, I buy new things, & I don’t want to feel like I failed at not completing something that I wrote down in December or January b/c I was so excited & literally want to stitch all the things; knowing full good & well I won’t meet every single goal. So, 2024 is for me a year of stitching what I want, when I want, too.
Glad you spoke out, too, about the commenter; it’s senseless how people judge, & are always looking for trouble, & you said it from the heart, so it was not a soapbox tangent❤️

I will always stay with you to the end. I love to see all your beautiful WIPS. I just went through some very old cross stitch tubs I found and have a couple of old Lavender and Lace patterns. I would love to find The Secret Santa pattern but won’t pay the crazy prices for it on eBay . Looking forward to seeing you finish some of those oldies. ❤

Hi Vickie! Happy New Year to you as well! I always enjoy your WIP parades. 🙂 I like how you just enjoy stitching and do not put pressure on yourself to FFO. I too have been cross stitching since the 1980's. I have always had a pattern by my side over the years. But once COVID hit and I found Floss Tube, I am no longer a monogamous stitcher. Haha!. I have now joined the cross stitch community and stitch more than one pattern. I am now up to 22 WIPS! Last year I had only 4 FFOs I'm happy and enjoy each WIP!
Regarding your stance on the negative comment you received, I am in complete agreement of your reaction. Glad you said something and had your voice and took time to express yourself. Hopefully you don't hear back from that person ever again if he/she cannot be nice. Luckily most of your comments are positive. Focus on those positive comments because you are so LOVED! I loved your wip parade! It was amazing. I like all the projects and I love your ways of kitting the wips, the choices you made for fabrics and threads. I am also a "two over two" girl and I love Lugana. I usually stitch on linen, because I have stash of it, but, like you, I prefer Lugana and the way my sttches comes out. Don't worry about this one negeative comment. Some people are just so ... brainwashed! We're in for the stitching and we don't mind at all about words, ideologies, politics or stupidity... Happy Stitching!
Thank you for the WIP parade, I love seeing all your stitches and how you happily change colours of fabric and floss or start over when you are not happy. My tv asked if I was still watching as it was a long one! And I enjoyed your rant too, it can be easy to ignore virtue signalling or nastiness posted by key board warriors so it is important to stand your ground and not be cowed by someones misinterpretation of your words. Why anyone would think a comment would be derogatory is beyond me as you are sparklingly positive and always smiling. And hopefully your BP is back down with some calming stitching x
