Hi Vicky. I stitched the Hydrangea piece as well and it is beautiful Lanarte and called Garden Interlude. I finished mine be in 2006 and have it finished in a gray rustic frame. Yours looks great. Enjoyed the video
We seem to have similar taste in stitching. Even with the old ones. Thank you for the info. I never thought I would ever need to know what I was stitching so I didn’t keep track.
My TV loves your flosstubes. Four times now I have awakened to your flosstubes of WIPS -- I am NOT complaining. I have enjoyed every one of them -- better than boring old Ancient England and Egypt. I love all the patterns you are working on. I don't sleep well, because I have Pulmonary Fibrosis and Hypertension -- fighting the good fight however. Flosstubing can be hard work, so if you take a break I will miss you, but I have the old ones to look at as well. Hope you have a wonderful summer that is left -- looking forward to more interruptions at night. 😄😄😄

So glad to see you back. I have completed all four seasons from the Cricket Collection. I have one frame I can use for all four. Just a word of caution: decide if some of the letters..especially Spring and Summer….might need a little backstitching to make them stand out a little more. I noticed it after they were framed. Of course it depends on your fabric choices too. Happy 31 more starts. Anxious to see them.

I also stitched Summer Delivery in 2023. My horse did not show up well on 28ct. Legacy Lugana, so I outlined it with back stitches. It still doesn't stand out as much as I would like but it will have to do. Yours look great! I have the letter "B" chart and wanted to use DMC 103 but I guess they stopped making it. It is a varigated blue floss without any light blue sections. I have not chosen a fabric yet and your idea of using gray with DMC 121 is a good one.

I also stitched Summer Delivery in 2023. My horse did not show up well on 28ct. Legacy Lugana, so I outlined it with back stitches. It still doesn't stand out as much as I would like but it will have to do. Yours look great! I have the letter "B" chart and wanted to use DMC 103 but I guess they stopped making it. It is a varigated blue floss without any light blue sections. I have not chosen a fabric yet and your idea of using gray with DMC 121 is a good one.
Sounds like we have similar patterns in common. Have fun starting your “B” pattern!

I agree with you that sometimes starting is the hardest part. I find it difficult to finish also, usually because there's only backstitching left and my motivation has gone on to the next project. 😅 Lucky that I really enjoy the bit in the middle. 😂❤🎉

I agree. I have a little difficulty finishing a piece that just has backstitch or a lot of fiddly stitching left at the end.

Hi! Like your idea of treating patterns like good books! I think of them as collecting artwork too. I am 70 and I also was stitching Oh My Bird! I haven’t seen too many other projects of that. I finished it in April. Really enjoyed it. Have to post it on Instagram one of these days🥰
