Next to Moda there is Bostanci which has a longer and better shore than Moda. Bostanci is more elite and has expensive neighbourhoods but you should definitely go there sometime. There are direct Taxi Shuttles to Bostanci and back from the Moda parking spot. The big yellow vans.

Awesome. So much inside information. Kadiköy is the area where i did a food tour once, really nice there.
Make sure to visit Princess Islands, 20 min with ferry from Bostanci, you can access to Bostanci through Bagdat street about 30 min from Moda.

Moda beach and Kadıköy is my favourite too.
It's especially good during these times because the school semester has started so all the university students are back from their hometowns and the weather is nice enough to spend the day out on the beach drinking and singing.
So Moda beach and Kadıköy should be very lively right now.

Some suggestions for your next trip to Istanbul: try to visit Arnavutköy, Beykoz, and the Prince Islands.

We stayed for more than a week at Sultanahmet area and it was astonishing 😭😭😭❤️
It took us about a week to visit places in the European area however we didn't reach all places that we intended to.. Next time will be more about the Asian side and the part of istanbul reaching the black sea.

As a native of İzmir my favourite place in İstanbul is Moda - Fenerbahçe - Göztepe stretch of coast.

On my first visit I stayed around Taksim. On my 2nd visit I stayed around sultanahmet. On my 3rd visit I stayed at Besiktas. On my 4th one I stayed at Kadikoy. On the following 2 I again stayed at Kadikoy.
Which would you recommend for 1st time visitors for 5 days stay
@@helenellis7426 I think Taksim or Besiktas. Important to stay close to historical peninsula but not at Sultanahmet - gets too boring

you guys should check out kuzguncuk,üsküdar.You can take a bus from üsküdar marmaray.It has the best döer place in turket called metet közde döner.

Also you left out Bagdat street, which is the top elite neighbourhood of Kadikoy. Its more towards the city center. Its the Nişantaşi version of the Asian side.
Besiktas is the best place to stay actually, which has the best team and nicest people in Istanbul
You guys need to go to Baghdad avenue. Imo best place in Istanbul.
Why? They never interest expensive european brand stores like armani, versace vs.. It's already have those shops in their country especially in LA around Rodeo Drive. Bagdat street (avenue) doesn't give any interest for tourists.

next week there will be one of the biggest rivals football match. without going to that match, do not leave Turkey. without that i wouldnt call that u stayed in Turkey.. Its crazy atmosphere
