Thanks for this tutorial! There's a lightning deal on Amazon today for this item, so after having it on one of my shopping lists for a couple months, I finally ordered it. I don't have any experience with this kind of stuff. I've put together a lot of Ikea furniture, but that's about it, so guides like this are really helpful.
Thanks to your video I have now completed this lovely Book Nook, its the first time I have attempted something like this so just took my time and worked through the stages and it has turned out great. Thanks for inspiring me to do this.
Hi! Number one, thanks for all the help! Totally got the electric wires assembly. However, although I finished the Sakura Densrlyra, it was a favorite. Those teeny, tiny supports are crazy. Ha ha. Loved the Sunshine Town one. But thanks again!!
thank you so much for the tutorial!! I finished this pieve tofay - it took me maybe five hours and two days! the part where you showed the wiring and some of thr fiddly parts really helped! it was also nice to have something to check on every few steps to make sure I was still on the right track!! I think getting the walls and frame was the hardest part for me, they would pop out and shift around sometimes. other than that I had lots of fun with this tiny little world! I want to find my next one immediately!!
I recently bought this book nook. The directions are completely in Mandarin with no English at all. Your video is a good stand by in case I need some clarifications. :) I have also found that if you rub candle wax in the holes before you try to insert the wooden tabs, they go in much easier. Great video.
I had the same issue with the entire height of the front panel buckling away from the corner of the entire height of the left panel; the corner height does not align regardless of a proper build. The bottom left peg/hole points didn't fully connect for my model either.
If i put a battery too strong to test the light bulbs, can they blow up? To be safe I will put one of those batteries like yours with 1.5 V and if it's too weak will still work right? Thank you so much for your tutorials. Very helpful.
Awesome video, i have exploring rolife book nooks. I have a few questions tho. If its ur first time crafting things like this, will it be hard for me? I want to build them and give them as presents, and how long it will take to build them + if i need additional items for the builds. Also i Just saw rolife released a new tram.😅 Ty in advance.😊
Thank you so much! It is very helpful! I did bulb tests and they all work, but somehow they dont work with battery on and off switch. I dont know what's happening :( do you think you can help?
So basically you wire all the things up, red with red black with black and that is. Also you only press in the wood and that thing turns on? Like a touchscreen?
Hi! How did you glue the transparent layer (ripples) to the river? The instructions read "apply some glue on the edge" but I'm afraid the glue may be visible even once it's dry. Thank you!
Is piece B1 used in this kit? I have just completed it and along with the many small spare pieces there is a large unused piece labelled B1 and I can’t figure out where it should have gone.
Did the batteries come with the pack? Or will I have to buy my own for this set. If you did buy your own what kind did you get? The website tells you the type but there are so many brands I'm not sure where to even begin
Hey thanks for the vid! I've done everything as in the booklet and this video but my lights don't light up. all red is connected to red, black to black, working batteries (checked them), batteryhousing button on, frontbutton pressed but still no lights. Do you have any idea how thats possible?
@@buildingwiththeboys Thanks for the quick reply! I tried that! Also without the wooden sheet in between. Currently quite bummed out that its not working haha
@@buildingwiththeboys I currently not have the insulated sticker on for troubleshooting purposes, does it need that on it for it to work? It was on when it first didnt work, took it af to rewire it just to make sure
Thanks for all your advice, especially around the wiring as that was not clear in the instructions! I might try another one now :)

Glad I found this tutorial ! I just started building this one for a friend. I will definitely be using this video as a reference.

I feel like my lights weren't AS bright as yours by the end but maybe some brand new batteries will solve that!
15:55 Your video helped me a lot with figuring out the wiring. Thanks!
You are very welcome 😊
Fantastic video. Enjoyed every second 👌
Currently building this nook, super helpful video thank you!
Looking forward to the round up of the nooks!

Thank you Michelle, great tip about the wax !

Its worth watching my book nook round up and I give break downs on difficulties etc

@@buildingwiththeboys Are all the book nook wire the same way?
No they aren't

I used a trace amount of clear dry glue

If you send a pic of it to buildingwiththeboys@outlook.com I can see if I can help
Hii what what that long stick you used to put in that gap in the river because I’ve got one of these and can’t find it
You should have it , its on one of the boards

I believe its just standard AAA batteries
I'm really struggling with the screws. Any idea on how to get them in? They seem to be too short, but maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
They shouldn't be too short , make sure it's all lined up and the brackets are on the right side
Book ends come in pairs. Do you think the two separate "Sakura" kits compliment each other, please?
Yes I do , I think that would look great

Try pressing the button with the full flat of your thumb

Are those Ugears on your bookshelf? What are the other wooden models?
They are all rokr models
How do you get the water part, P14, to stick. Mine wont😭
I put the glue on it and pegs around it and left it overnight. The next day it was sticking.
I can't use the glue. not working. What can I do
I would try loctite clear dry woodglue
Does it comes with the fake books?
No it doesn't
I didn't get any glue :(
