I just finished my Sakura Book Nook thank you for this video I used it along with the instructions because sometimes it's impossible to tell what the instructions are saying. This video made it way easier to complete the kit. I also appreciate the fact that you show us the completed kit ahead of time. That other TH-camr doesn't do this. Have to fast forward all the way to the end to see it completed. Took me about 20 hours, I really went slow took my time. Also ran out of glue. Wound up using some Elmer's clear glue to finish it. For those of you doing this kit, some advice, if I could do it again, I would not put the paper backing behind the window shutters. There's no reason for it and it just looks lame. Not to mention the window shutters look WAY better when they are just by themselves. For the poster board on the left side near to the stairs, I'm getting ready to print out a cute picture of my nieces since there's an empty space there. For advice, I also would suggest when putting cherry blossoms in the water to place them at different levels, put some on the very bottom and some of them on top of the clear sheet to bring a sense of 3 dimensions. The level of engineering for this kit is incredible. Everything fits and works perfectly. The laser cutting for each piece blows my mind.
I'm glad the video was helpful! I like the idea of customizing the existing kit ^^ I will pin your comment as it might be useful for other people! Thank you for commenting!
I just bought this for my birthday but was so scared I would ruin it that I haven't opened it. Now, thanks to you, I feel confident to do it. Thanks for this tutorial!
Way to go, heroine! You're an inspiration to us all, thank you! And to the rest of you, keep it up, you'll get there, and it'll look beautiful in your home!
Fits well into my space, I painted the back green. It's very easy to customize just the back if that's something you want to do. I would suggest sanding it first before painting, I got a little impatient. The shelves th-cam.com/users/postUgkxM8H4CjCb79vzeyvgaFMdzmLm88oVFPMkare pretty small so keep that in mind if you're going to have it horizontal that some books won't fit. I like the snug look that it has. Good small shelf if you don't have much space, but not too small. Simple to put together, though you'll need your own tools, a screwdriver and a mallet/hammer, it's easiest to do with another person.
I loved putting this together! The only thing that bothered me was the sakura trees and branches. I just put glue wherever I thought was right and stuck the pieces together, because the guidelines were doing nothing for me... The branches just didn't seem to align with the guidelines. But maybe that's just me! Other than that, I enjoyed building this c:

I received this as a gift after leaving lots of hints to my partner ;) And I manage to complete this is three days. Absolutely had fun with this and it's a beautiful piece. I will say this video helped me a lot alongside the instructions, but I did have a few mishaps that meant one side board didn't fit right and one of the sloping pieces didn't fit with the front button piece so I've had to improvise. I also lost the sandpaper so had to force some bits. I'm not a DIY person but I felt this wasn't too bad to make. I would advise winging it in places (near completion) if things go wrong like they did with me. Thank you for making the video! And for anyone looking to make this, it is fun and I wish you good luck!!

Oh hmm kinda hard to trouble shot from a distance, but I would make sure the wires match color wise and that the connections are ok. Also make sure the button is on on the actually battery case
13:25 I don't have the black wire coming out of the switch. I have a black wire but it isn't connected to anything...
oh you mean the wire isn't connected to the tiny circuit board switch? I would msg the company to ask for a replacment
I really liked this❤. I would like to ask what glue did you use?
Hey! I use white wood glue and uhu glue for the water part =)
@@TinyCraftWorld thank you ❤️
This might be a dumb question, but I just ordered this like an hour ago for my bookshelf. And I wanted to know if I needed anything (like glue or tape) to assemble this. Or does everything come with the product? Sorry this is my first product like this
heyo, I didn't get glue with it but I've seen others did get glue so not really sure, other then that the only thing I had to get is batterys =)
@@TinyCraftWorld thanks, just in case I do need glue what type of glue did you use?
@@sportscardsincali9210 I used normal white wood glue, and for the "water" part I used some transparent UHU glue ^^
I have this but my inductor only has two red and black cables where as urs has 4 so I can’t actually do my lightning ...I’m so mad
Oh do you have 2 led lights and the little connector/button board?
@@TinyCraftWorld I have the battery with the little inductor but it’s only got one red and one black wire which is connected to the battery so I have no other place to put my wires from the actual lights
Hi! :) which glue did you use in P14 (water part)?
Thank you
Heya, I used UHU all purpose (transparent) adhesive =)
@@TinyCraftWorld thank you! :)
The only thing is i have got the same product but without glue , lights and batteries . Can you plz tell me which lights should i buy and which batteries should i buy . Also shall i ask themselves for these things
Oh well the glue and batteries aren't included, for the batteries its just standard aaa batteries. But the lights should be in the pack, 2 small led diods with wiring, they should be in a small plastic bag in that white plastic tray in the box. If you didn't get them I would contact them.
@@TinyCraftWorld no no i think it got left out in my mail
Maybe my delivery agent took them oyt. Various incidents of theft in mail have happened in my area.
Oh wait i got it it was taken out by my neighbour . Sorry for the inconvinience
Great Job! What kinds of glue exactly are you using?
They said they used normal white glue but for some people the kit comes with glue
it looks very hard and delicate to assamble, is it?
Not too hard and the pieces are pre-laser cut so you just gently pop them out ^^
Ok thank you very much ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
if buying does it include electronic devices?
It does! Comes with all the wires and switch, you only have to get extra batterys
After building this i no longer feel my thumbs… those wooden pieces to hold the wires in just wouldnt go in X_X this video helped me with the wiring (never trust myself with that) thanks 🙏
Ouch! I think I used the sandpaper to make some things fit in better ^^; I'm glad the video was helpful! ❤️
Ive just made more and this video really helped! It's just a shame on mine that between checking and finishing the project, the lights stopped working 😢
Oh no maybe a wire got loose somewhere =/
Hi, is the glue included in the box?
If not, what kind of glue is it?
It wasn't for me, so I just used regular white wood glue or UHU glue
Do you get the glue, batteries and mini screw driver with this? I’ve bought it as a gift for someone x
Heya I didn't get glue with mine but I've seen others get glue so not too sure, the batteries aren't included, everything else and the mini screw is included =)
How did you glue the P14 to the wood? Mine doesnt seem to stick
What batteries do you use?
Pretty sure its the triple A batteries =)
Ok thank you. It turned out great thank you so much for the tutorial
Is the glue included?
I noticed some people get it, but I didn't so I think it depends where its shipped to maybe
I just bought one of these :D any suggestions on type of glue? Im definetly gonna need tweezers though haha, it looks beautiful and what a beautiful video!
Awesome! I just used white wood glue from the hardware store (its cheaper then white glue at a crafts store ^^;) I hope you will enjoy making it!
@@TinyCraftWorld thank you!! Thats what I thought might be a good idea but wasn't sure!!
I just receive my pack today but my glue is kikd of squishy in it I don't know if I can get it back liquid :o
Oh maybe it dried out? But any kinda basic glue will work, I just used simple paper glue
Wow, I completely commend you for how perfect your insertions were. Admittedly, I would've been done with mine 3 hours sooner if I was better at flushing the pieces together.
I did sand the edges a bit off camera so they would go in easy ^^;
thank u, u r a god send !!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Hi. Sorry for asking. Do you know where I can get the english manual for this model? Mine is in chinese characters 😅
Oh no, I would contact the seller and requesting the english manual =S
@@TinyCraftWorld I did but the seller suggest me to take pictures of the instruction and check for the translation online 😂😂😂
I came across their add and I was so excited and your video is making me pull the trigger and buy it . Thank you Tiny craft world for the nice tutorial. One question do we need our own wood glue and CA glue as well?
Oh awesome! My kit didn't come with glue but I've seen others did get glue so not really sure, maybe it has to do with shipping location (maybe something with shipping glue?) I just used regular white glue ^^ Hope you will enjoy your kit!
How long this took to complete?
I think about 3-4 days but I was recording while doing it so I think without the recording you could finish it in a day or two =)
Thank god I found this video. I got confused with the wires and thought I broke them.
Glad it was helpful =)
I like this kit but I do not like the wood edge that make different color with the main piece . love your tutorials .
Ah I think I know what you mean, its just nature of how the wood is laser cut, but I think you could touch those parts up with some paint ^^
This has been a big help - thank you!
Awesome!
Hello! How long did delivery take? Thank you! I just ordered mine and it says that they still haven't received the package :(
I think it took about 2 weeks for me (asia to europe) but I could be a bit longer now since its close to holidays =/
@@TinyCraftWorld Hello! Sorry to bother again, how did you apply the glue to the plastic for the "water"? Yours looked seamless in the vid but when I tried, it looked like a mess huhu T__T I applied glue on the sides but you can clearly see the glue. Do you have any advice? Thank you!
@@quinnspade7297 For the water thing I used UHU glue the transperant one, I did smudge mine coz I was moving it but it was at the far end of the model so you cant see it at all in the finished model. But Id suggest dabbing some glue and then maybe putting something heavy on top and letting it dry fully so it doesn't smudge ^^ even if yours is smudged im sure it wont be too noticeable in the end ^^
Is the glue included, or needs to buy separately? Btw awesome vid.
It was included for me!
It wasn't for me ^^ I just used glue I had on hand
I have loved putting my Sakura Densya together, the joints were sometimes a bit tight so I too sanded them a little bit to stop any splitting. Sadly the connection wires from the inductor just dropped off 😥😥😥 I tried to reconnect and then saw in the Q&A No.5 there is a QR code to scan for info if they break. I cannot find this at all. Does anyone know where the QR scan code is?
Ohh not sure which part fell off, do you mean from the actual tiny circuit board or the part where you connect the wires together?
@@TinyCraftWorld Yes, that's the part but I contacted them and they are sending a replacement part. Great customer service from Rolife.
