I really love your commentary on the scenes being based on different genre of books like sci-fi, cooking, etc. I just purchased my first book nook which is a Rolife Garden House so it's comforting to see how different builds can be. It's not just that I might struggle because I'm bad at something but just because I'm new at it and that each design has unique elements which might present challenges.

Thank you Lego for never doing steme punk. These sets are off the rails. I used to play planet coaster, I made an insanely detailed steam/cyberpunk Neo Moscow theme park and the way some of these pieces are used reminds me of that. Fun Whole nails the steme punk theme so perfectly, every detail, all the way down to the color choices, and the train with a potential elevated rail above it...a weighted working elevator...it's hard to imagine this being done better..the whoa factor here...Thank you Fun Whole...you really um ...fill the void that Lego won't touch, your set concepts are far more ambitious, and the final design is better looking then what lego would have probably done. I hope this brick company sticks around, their design team has kinda earned it, I hope more people discover them.

I've carefully made sure the lights work individually from the battery terminal, but when I connected the wires (3 blacks together, and 3 reds), nothing happens. I'm afraid something is wrong in the switch or the little board it has to pass through.... any advice please?

Not a great extension in my opinion. As someone in the FB group pointed out, if it was a scale model of Nomadic or Traffic then I may consider keeping going with the subscription. We already have an engine after all. All in all the kit was disappointing- for the money it should be so much better and more detailed. After looking at other people's titanic models such as modelboatguy or Midwest model shop, this is childs play. It is easy to put together though, ill give them that. And it can be modified to look as good as other models, if you're prepared to pay through the nose AGAIN for add-ons and mods!

Just on the Mandalorian on Speeder Bike, the bike is 77cm long, Mando is 44cm high, this looks to be 1/4 scale. Sideshow released a 1/4 scale Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike about 7-8 years ago that's now a grail piece and very hard to find, it sells for 3-4K. If they released one today it would be over 2K. I would love to get my hands on this, I think with the new Mando movie coming out this could be very popular.

I did not like the build for Sakura Densya at all - way too may tiny and fiddly supports for windows and awnings. Awful. Also - way too much glue use. And I agree with you about the cardboard awnings - I had to get a toothpick to straighten some of them after someone admired it too firmly. What I DID like was that it was easy to personalise. I painted the cat to look like one of my cats. I moved the shop light from in front of the door where you would bang your head to in between the door and the window so you could see that the balcony does not have a safety rail all the way around. I put some of the river flowers UNDER the clear plastic sheet and I have an improved depth of river. I coloured some edges with a sharpie. And I put some colour on the people in the tram. I used the pink surround in the kit to make a couple of extra petals/blossoms. I drew in some bark lines on the tree, and lines on some of the blossoms. I highlighted the characters on the sign and darkened the black stripes on the safety rail. I blackened the tram wheels and support. I straightened the posters (a Japanese town with such a traditional architecture is unlikely to have posters askew). I like the end result. Not the build. This was my second - although I have done other kit builds that were not Bookends. In Bookends I did Magic House first and I hated the rubbish on the streets. If I was building it again I'd not put the flyers in those places - but I might add a cat or a dragon or unicorn or other magical creature. Or mushrooms. Or glow-in-the-dark flowers or footsteps or something. I encourage anyone to really make your build your own and personalise them.

Glad I didn't do the marvels glove. But I am going to do the darlek haven't done a build since my disappointment with the mk1 Spitfire build. I've kept it as a static build. Just hope there's no gremlins in this one. Happy new year to you and yours

Great to see you back brother you and your family have a blessed one can't wait for you to see you build titanic I'm waiting on my shipment 24 the last shipment from agora and for some strange reason they are not sending my display case with it they told me it will be shipping in February I hope they still owe me a replacement motor for my engine that I paid for and lucky one of my TH-camrs sent me a replacement motor and I tried to get my money back from agora and they told me leave this with us that was 5 months ago and still waiting so now I got my concerns about this company if things don't work out I will definitely get one of those cases keep up the great work glad you are feeling better was really worried about you

Glad to see you back. I myself need to get back to the Titanic build to finish! Been busy with a side hustle and then Christmas so now glad you are back because I need to get back and finish the Titanic and your channel gives me the impetus!

Love it Scott its nice but I'm personally not doing the Dalek but i am building the Darth Vader as I've been wanting that build for a long time so fingers crossed right lol 🤣, the Iron man build worked out in the end so im gonna keep the faith 👍cheers scott and the BWTB family

Yeah small screw drivers do give you writers cramp. What happened with the big marvel glove you were doing.

It's the only thing that narcs me is the length of time. I'm thinking about doing this one. Will have to put in the opposite corner to my r2d2. Be nice if they would do the cyber man and Fab 1 of Thunderbirds

Hi Scott, after the wonderful build of the titanic and when this one was announced that it was going to a full run after trail I am waiting for issue 2 and 3 as starting from issue two as bought issue one from the supermarket and only ordered it the other day and with loving doctor who like I do it made me go yeah this is going to be fun

I think this would be super fun to build with my grandson. I'm concerned though about this taking 2.5 years. Not because we wouldn't keep up with it but worried about dropping that much money and the subscription service ends - like a TV series that ends the season on a cliff hanger and then gets cancelled. Have you done anything like this before? Are you worried about the subscription getting cancelled?

You know, Hachette and the other publishers should really be showing some gratitude to you for building the community the way you do, making these part collections into a shared experience that becomes interesting and entertaining... I hope you get some recognition for all you do, even though you do it for the love of it...
