Yeah, my tp is on display on back of tank disguised as a tissue box....but that could be because it is an actual box of tissues. LOL
Yes, I was so tickled when I first saw the title. I have about twelve rolls left. I count them everytime I go into the bathroom. They’re in a cabinet, with a glass door. Lol. Stay safe.

Hello 👋👋 I love you're diy and idea with the toilet paper holder especially since I have been going crazy looking for some toilet paper for my family and have noy had any luck so I am thinking of making this but just imagine there were tissue rolls in it once I make it because I'm running low keeping my fingers crossed to find some tomorrow ☺ idk whats the biggie about tissue when the symptoms are not even nothing to do with stomach virus. Lets just all continue to keep safe sanitized, indoors and occupied with a smile on our face for the little ones at least so they don't get nervous, blessings to all 🙏💞
Yippee....love builds, remodels, and upcycle projects. Woodworking searches is how I found your channel a few months ago. For our smaller full bathroom, and for our downstairs tiny half-bath, I built 2 = 16"h X 14"w recessed wall holders for toilet paper, wet wipes, and air fresheners. They're installed between the studs within easy reach of the toilet. The cottage styled white enameled bead board backer, and traditional trim of these recessed niches was copied from one shown in an episode of This Old House, about 20 years ago 👍💕🏠. I've made several of these for family and friends.

Adding wood pins through each end of the dowel would ensure the dowel staying in place while the paper is being dispensed.
Wood pins? If I want to recreate this....which i am planning to do. Probably during this self quarantine that we are all loving right now. Hahaha HOW would I add these wood pins...what do they look like and where would I find them for the best price
I was thinking a small hole drilled through the dowel that holds the toilet paper. Then insert a small wooden pin (or just a small piece of a dowel the same size as the small hole drilled) through the hole on each side.

I love it! I know it's just a TP holder. But you don't understand. Haha my bathroom is TINY. Finding one that I like that isn't too bulky is harder than you would think....or maybe I'm picky? Your wood projects are what got me started in woodworking. I went from not knowing how to use a drill to owning a table saw, router, miter saw, jigsaw, nail gun, sander....oops? One thing I haven't figured out is when to choose the nail gun & glue and when to use screws instead. What was your reason for choosing the screws on this one?
I normally hide it, but this would definitely make me leave it out. This is great. Thank you for the idea. Absolutely love it. This will give me a much needed distraction.

I couldn't find Briarsmoke at my 2 stores a couple weeks ago. I am working on shelving, about the same width, to put up and flank my bathroom mirror. May I ask where you found it? I have yet to stain the shelves.

Looks great, like others if you have TP. How do you know that a beginner build will be completed by a beginner? Most beginners aren't as familiar with tools as you are.. Just looks more for internmiadte. Other then that I loved your project. Thank you for your time & many talents.
