Thank you for these cool tips. Is it possible the number arrows? I have created a complex L1 data flow diagram and would like to add number to the arrows in order to create a dictionary for the readers easy to understand a flow, this will also help avoid putting lot of text on the arrow label. Last resort I will do the put number on the label itself and right/ left justify it.
Is it possible to create a reusable template in Visio? For example, I need to create cash flow diagrams for over 250 investments, and while each is a little different than the next, having a starting-point template would be so convenient.

yes put the main items and and then saves as template should do it.
