The commercial utilities, such as the one demoed at the end of this webinar, are those plug-ins for Visio that were written, or are those standalone applications that use an exposed API in Visio?

I cannot get to position them like they are. I see two yellow dots there. My shape is making only one yellow dot and they are placed around middle yellow dot, no matter if I choose Far Left/Right/Edge, etc.

At about 43:29 he dragged item over line connector and two labels popped up. How to create that custom connector stencil?
