Love your videos but this one has to be one of my favorites so far. I just like your commentary on your own work. It felt real and funny especially notating mistakes or hurdles. “I could have used magnets but I didn’t so there”. “I decided to stop the hair for some reason and work on the boots - oh look past me has gone back to the hair”. Very enjoyable. Thanks for the video. I like that you did Jinx as she is bit different from your usual models. I would love to see how you use your latest paint styles on anime figures one day.

Então o TH-cam sugeriu seu vídeo "Triangle of Difficulty- (Yellow, Skintone, Eyes) How To Paint 3D Prints". Até o momento, você foi o único que realmente me impressionou.

I like the fire on the base, but the zenithal over black makes the yellow look green. I think a zenithal over a deep magenta would really pop those darker parts of the yellow into orange and the orange into red and so on.
To be honest I would agree for most cases with fire but in this model I wanted to keep the base a bit darker and desaturated vs the figure. And the fire is more smokey kinda i didn’t really show it nicely but the OSL lights up better from the side.
@@Groundeffected fair point, you want the focus up on the figure and the top 1/3 of the figure at that. Looks great, I have to get that CA3D Patreon soon
I printed the bust, loved it, I tried the blue wash that people are doing, didn't really work because she's such a punky purple, so I printed another lol

Uh. My timescale is a bit crazy. Usually start on a Saturday and by Monday night I aim to be done to do a rough cut of the video so that I have Tuesday to support and start printing the next one Wednesday video voice over and thumbnail etc and Thursday’s and Fridays I tattoo it’s a wild ride haha

did you print at original size or did you enlarge it thanks awesome job
I usually print at the scale I get it in. Mostly 1/6th but scale is a funny thing and is different between artists so some seem small and some seem big but on average I print in 1/6th and sometimes in 1/4

You said letting matt varnish rest and cure before continuing. How long did that take? Overnight?
It doesn’t have to be but for safety I do the varnish at the end of the day then when I get in in the morning it’s good to go anyway. A couple hours is usually fine but better safe than sorry I guess.

How do you decide when to use an ink.
If I want to see some colours underneath or if I just want a bright saturated version of certain colours sometimes ink is better because it will be dark in the dark parts and bright over the white parts of a zenithal.

Depends dude. If it’s super detailed a day or two. But if not a couple hours at most.

Sure it’s a resin printer. Specifically it’s a Uniformation gktwo there is a link in my description that can show you all the information about it ( it is an affiliate link I have to tell you that haha)
