    Another one of our customers sent us this link. Glad we could help. Video and bike look great! FYI we also have plug and play front LED lights for this model (K68497) as well as other items. We have also developed a wiring harness that will provide power to the rear simply by plugging in a connector and running wires to the rear. You can then use those to power our taillights and additional items such as the license frame. Makes our lights plug and play.

International orders can be made directly with Kodlin USA. Shipping gets expensive when ordering direct, so we always suggest using a distributor when possible. Hi. Looks great. I have the TBR fender eliminator. My question is that when you turn the bike off does or did the red LEDs on the rear stay alit for a short period after the bike is off then turn off? Also I am having issues since a service with headlight now not working. The Daylight light works but I have no highbeam or lowbeam at night. Worked fine for 6mths after Insta the tailtidy so that wouldn’t be the issue. The bar across the middle of the light is illuminated but I don’t know if that bar is supposed to change brightness or there are other LEDs internally that may have blown.

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I missed this comment. Yes, the tail light stays on for a bit before turning off. Second, the headlight issue sounds like its unrelated. I’d take it to Harley for warranty service. Assuming you wired in the fender eliminator using the connection for the old tail light.

    Gotta say this bike just jumped on my radar. How is the rear travel? Did the 1 inch help? Not too rough?

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can’t just hit any pothole or manhole cover you see. If the bump is big it hurts a bit. There are mods to increase the suspension travel but I haven’t had too many issues. No different than driving a sports car.

    Can't you just use " posi-tap" wire connectors to tap off the factory wiring to the blinkers when adding the extra blinkers?

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What I should have done is ordered a new jst connector and wired everything up together so it could plug into the factory harness. At the time I couldn’t find the connector but now I know where to get them.
      Posi tap might have worked but the wires are very thin. I think the best way to do it is what I mentioned above.

    NICE !!! ( I wanted to buy this bike when it came out, but the lack of suspension in the back (like 3") I suck with another bike, and it needs Dual rotor up front ) Look Wise 11/10

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree about the rear suspension. Getting my weight dialed in made it better but it’s still a bit rough. I’m willing to deal with that. As for the dual rotor, I disagree. Looks wise, whatever, I think dual rotors would look better. But the 4 pot brembo and the diameter of the disk make this bike stop plenty quickly. Absolutely no issues with the brakes. Stops just as fast if not faster than my R NineT with dual brembos. I think people focusing on the dual brakes automatically think 2 is better than one which is not always the case. If they had dual brakes it would be 2 2 pot lower quality brembos on smaller diameter disks, 6 and 1/2 dozen.
      I think they’ll probably update it to dual brakes one day since everyone complains about it, but none of those people have ridden the bike.

    • @stevem4783
      @stevem4783 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DrFearCo Dual rotors would also mean extra unsprung weight on the front end which would negatively affect handling dynamics. Harley isn't adverse to using them when necessary, but if you notice it's almost always on their much heavier applications - bikes that generate much more heat in stopping an equivalent distance, because that's where duals shine: in heat dissipation to alleviate potential fade, not extra stopping power.
      I think your bike looks great, keep up the good work.

    • @float6969
      @float6969 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I JUST bought a 22' Sportster S in Sand White Pearl (like, I've had it for less than 2 weeks). I haven't found any reviews from anyone who's actually ridden the bike that think the brakes are lacking in any way on these bikes. I'm 6'2", 225 lbs. and I still think there's PLENTY of brake on this bike. I haven't taken it past 70mph yet, as the bike has less than 60 miles on it so I'm still breaking it in, but even from highway speeds, there's enough braking there to lift the rear wheel if you turned all the electronannies off. Maybe in a racing environment it might not be able to handle the repeated braking, but I don't think anyone is buying this bike to race with.

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@float6969 Maybe drag racing? Time will tell. I am 6'2" ~205. So my experience will probably be similar to yours.

    I'm really tryin hard to love these new sportsers but just can't do it yet. I love the specs on this bike, love the look but the sound is a huge miss for me. Doesn't sound mean or powerful, no matter what you do. Your bike isn't loud at all IMO and I think your cam captured the sound pretty well. Its a slick lookin rig though and could probably leave my XR1200 in the dust but my hopped up evo sounds insane at any rpm. Now if Harley makes a XR1250 with the pan am's 150 hp engine, i might not care about the sound lol

    • @DrFearCo
      @DrFearCo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah… it sounds a bit like an L twin Ducati maybe? It definitely doesn’t sound like a Harley and that’s probably the worst part for a lot of people. I think the mechanical chatter goes away a bit when you remove the exhaust baffle (like I did in my recent video) but it’s still not the same.
      I will tell you that this pulls harder than a pan am. 150HP would probably mean just a higher top speed.
