Do you have a heatshrink that will fit over an RJ-45 end on a network patch cable, but shrink enough to stay in place on the cable?

      Great question, Eric!
One drawback of heat shrink tubes happens when you encounter one of those pesky connectors. What do you do then?
For that application, we recommend using the Vinyl Self-Laminating tape, as it is designed specifically for this application. It has a top (black on white) printable area with a clear tail underneath.
As you wrap the transparent portion around the printed text, it creates a self-laminating protective shield giving you an excellent durable, easy-to-read label. And the best thing is, all of our supplies are interchangeable and cartridge-based. So use the heat shrink tube when you need it, and then just pop in a self-laminating cartridge when you need that. Easy Peasy!
I would be happy to send you samples of either supply for you to test, email us at support@labelworks.epson.com

@@EpsonLabelWorks Thank you for the response! I was hoping they would shrink enough, but realistically didn't think so. That would have to shrink to about 1/3 of the original size.

Eric I was looking for the EXACT same thing. I have a labelworks printer with normal labels but they may unbend and peel off of the UTP cable over time. I knew the Vinyl Self-Laminating tape (I've seen cables with that) but I'd rather use a heatshrink option, if available. It seems there's no way to use it with a patch cord that's got the connectors in place, only if we pass the tube and then crimp he connector afterwards.
