Wow, you are such a good colourist. Please don't abandon YT. Every page you have coloured is beautiful. How did you hide the line on the chipmunk in the Millie Marotta book? I too love her illustrations but am overwhelmed by all the lines and patterns.
I just pretend like they are not there at all! The paper us quite good so if you put down enough layers of colours you won't see the lines much. But I think if you use lighter colours you will still see them unfortunately.

I use lots of light layers and the brands of pencils like polychromos and prismacolor does help a lot because their pencils have very rich and beautiful pigments 😊
On this first page of room of wonder, I saw the video but I wasn't able to ask the question, what did you first brush on the page. It was white semi opaque color. Was it geso?
I usually don't unless I used soft pastel for backgrounds. But to be honest I should 😆. The polychromos and prismacolor don't usually transfer though in my opinion and since I don't display these pages under the sun, there is no problem of the colours fading ☺️

First page of Rooms of wonder? The sewing room? I didn't put anything only pencils. And what video did you see it from? Are you one of my patrons?
Do you use any finishing spray to make the color stay longer and not transfer such as fixative spray?

How long does it take you to color one page. Looks like hours of work.
Some pages took really long mayber up to 20 hours but some maybe like 3 hours. But I only colour slowly so that make it much longer 😆🩷
