Lovely to see all your pages for the month. As a beginner I find your tutorials so helpful & learn a lot. Johanna is my favourite colouring artist as well. I’ve preordered next years planner & her new book coming out later in the year, do hope that eventually you do tutorials from these. 🤞

So many lovely pictures. I got discouraged by the Lulu Mayo paper, my pencils just never look good in it so I just don’t pick them up now, so it’s reassuring that you struggle with it too.
I have had some success with prismas so I may try some softer pencils again
I still find it fascinating that you can look at a color and know what pencil set it's from. When I first started coloring in Johanna's books, I'd make a small notation in the corner, initials of the pencils I used. But that didn't last very long, I kept forgetting lol I wonder how long it would take me to do 80+ pictures lol!
I can do that partly because there are unique colours in certain sets, so if I spot those I can work it out. However, I do keep a list and so when I am doing my flip through, I normally am able to check my list to work out what pencils I used. Lol - it is not a race (well I keep trying to tell my brain that lol)

Hi Rachel beautiful colouring in I loved all the pages you coloured I was thinking too the postcard book u showed if u want to buddy in that one too I’ll be happy I’m just trying to get myself motivated. To colour and trying to tell my brain that I have to colour to keep me happy ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxx

Hello Hon , i have only had time right now to catch up on your video. I am trying to take a leaf from you...and trying to color every day ,just a little ....however only managed once last week ....been crazy busy .Love your coloring it is perfect. Lulu mayo I might try water coolor and the pencils over the top hahahaha maybe working in Rita Ocean one at this time hahha happy coloring xxxxxx
It can be hard to find the time, husband used to find that with his sketching so he took to leaving a sketch pad and pen in different places in the house so he could just pick one up when he had a spare minute. Maybe you could have a small book and small set of pencils in a handy place? Watercolour is a good idea, would love to know how you get on.

I have the 50 pastel set of Holbien ...I sorta want the 150 set for some time. ......maybe next year hahahahaha. I have the 150 set of Cromaflow Got as a birthday treat for me turning 48 hahahahah . on may 4th hahahahah
Happy belated birthday! There are so many lovely pencils out there! I just keep reminding myself that I can only use one pencil at a time!
@@RachelHendersonColouring Yeah I like mixing diffent brands together only have 3 that i mail use polychomos, Cromaflow and holbien 50 set 🥰 I use the pastel set to fill in the light tones when coloring hhahaha
