- Kansas State's performance in football can vary for several reasons:
Cyclical Nature of College Athletics: Like many college football programs, Kansas State experiences ups and downs in its performance over time. Factors such as coaching changes, player turnover, and recruiting cycles can all influence the team's success from season to season.
Recruitment Challenges: Kansas State may face challenges in recruiting top-tier talent compared to other programs with larger budgets, more resources, or stronger brand recognition. Limited resources or geographic location can impact the team's ability to attract high-caliber recruits consistently.
Competitive Conference: Kansas State competes in the Big 12 Conference, which includes several powerhouse football programs. The level of competition within the conference can be intense, making it challenging for Kansas State to consistently achieve success against top-ranked opponents.
Injuries and Player Development: Injuries to key players or issues with player development can affect the team's performance on the field. Depth at certain positions and the ability to adapt to roster changes throughout the season are crucial factors in sustaining success.
Coaching and Leadership: Coaching changes or turnover within the coaching staff can impact team performance. Changes in coaching philosophy, playcalling, or leadership styles may take time to implement and adjust to, potentially affecting the team's performance in the short term.
Financial Resources: Financial constraints or limitations compared to other programs may impact Kansas State's ability to invest in facilities, staff, or resources that can contribute to on-field success. Financial disparities can create challenges in maintaining competitiveness over the long term.
Overall, Kansas State's performance in football can be influenced by a combination of factors, including cyclical trends, recruitment challenges, conference competition, injuries, coaching, and financial resources. Addressing these factors and maintaining consistency in recruiting, player development, and coaching can help Kansas State improve its performance and achieve greater success on the football field.

Kstate success will come down to O-line productivity, ability to protect the QB. D-line, some questions as well. Win the trenches. Lot of talent everywhere else.
This year will be the start of KSU dominating the Big 12 conference. Book it! 😀👍

😂😂😂😂😂😂. . . 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I 😂😂😂😂
This guy didn't seem to know much about his own program, much less Behren Morton and Texas Tech.
Do not listen to anything they say they are red raider haters
3:07 pretty sure he means Alex Morenco, but they transferred from UNM, not UTEP...
Inaccurate statement about Behren Morton. The job is his. See statement from HC, Joey McGuire. Also, he has been injured since his first game against OK State.
AJ's sample size is to small, I agree. He'll be better this season. In his his maturity is so far ahead of this age it's scary.
In defense of Texas Tech, they had to play a 3rd string quarterback and still managed a bowl game.
The sample size IS too small. But I would bet my monthly salary that IF Avery stays healthy Avery is at worst top 3
Behren Morton is not fighting for the starting spot at Tech. He’s been named the starter and didn’t go through most of Spring ball. Not sure where the claim stating otherwise is coming from.
There are questions about his shoulder health as he’s been dealing with the same AC joint issue that bothered him all of last season. But Joey has unequivocally named him QB 1.
Blake Shapen? You’re determined to throw shade
Ask Texas tech about Avery Johnson! Pretty sure he is still scoring touchdowns as I write this. I knew the kid was better than Will the first snap he took! Kstate is going to be so scary good next year! Mark my words
Go Cats
Just play the games. No one can predict the future of KSU. I am actually a bit concerned with the O and D lines for KSU 2024. So who knows? No one knows.
Shouldn’t be worried about d line
Alot of ksu fans tell me they will just rebuild the oline. I'm not saying they wouldn't. But, ksu line lost half to the draft. Te 2 round og 3round and a 7th round with 2 more gone.
Avery has to stay healthy and teams will get more tape.
At least 5 on defense and 9 on offense.
@@robertpearce4316all kstate does is develop nfl offensive lineman… they will be just fine
@gagebyers1057 you fans at ksu get hurt very easily. At no point did I say you would never have a nfl lineman again. I did say I not think you have 2 nfl lineman and a te going to the nfl next year.
@@robertpearce4316 Agreed. This team is getting overhyped very similar to last year.
Everything starts at O-line and you’re taking a regression there one way or another. Full stop.
A lot of these weapons (which I’m excited about) are still largely unproven. Edwards had less than 500 yards last year. Oakley I think will be good but I don’t think he’s Ben Sinnott good. Keagan...has had a habit of drops and tripping in key moments.
All that said, this team returns 80% of its defensive production from last year (4th in nation). This might be a really nice defense.
Iowa State is going better than you think 🤔
TexasTech wasn’t good last year because of INJURIES ! Your comments are slightly flawed because of incorrect assumptions!
Is KState overhyped?
Yes. Yes they are!!
lol they are literally the best team in the conference
@@gagebyers1057 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮
Noone cares about the Big Smell Conference.
In your head 😂
What the he'll, idiot. I do.. Do you feel better hitting on someone else's team? There's nothing about you, I respect.
Then why are you here?
This is Locked on Big 12. Go troll some place else!
