I saw one on the net that blew me away! Movement like a cat, fluid and effortless. Balanced and perfect, no exaggeration anywhere. He was perfect and beautiful! You described him one hundred percent. That beautiful creature took my breath away! I've seen some whom are so heavy and don't want to move and when they do, there is something not right in their structure and movement.

    Really good video once again.
There are some good books and videos and websites that a person can refer to not necessarily boerboel specific but good info on dog structures

If the breed societies are so concerned about improving the breeds , why are they not making this information available to owners and breeders on their platforms ???

Politics. Nobody wants to recognise the expertise of people like Johan.

My friend, they have very little interest in protecting the breed and their perception of "improvement" is only to enhance those features which sells well.

Hi Johan. I love watching your videos. I understand you are in Mozambique. I’m wondering whereabouts your kennels are and how far from Ponte de Ouro are you?

Hi Alison, thank you. I am based in Ressano Garcia, the border town you go through to enter Mozambique (that is if you use the Komatipoort border post). Are you coming to visit or where are you based?

@@boerboelacademy I live in Alice Springs, Australia but I’m coming to Mozambique in May. I have a Boerboel myself. I have pulled at her ears and lips .. Lucky for her she’s a girl! I’d love to catch up.

I was interested in your book. I emailed it to the email you posted but I never received a reply.

Pictures or diagrams should have accompanied each quality to look out for. It would have made it easier for those of us just learning to understand what is being explained
