This inspired me to buy a MaxUSee 23-60x60 Zoom HD Spotting Scope. I also just bought a tripod carrying bag for an old tripod I found in the basement. This will make getting heron and egret pics much easier and clearer than with just my iPhone. Thanks for the great advice! :)
This is awesome thanks for showing this product I don’t usually use my iPhone but it sure looks like something maybe to experiment with in the future. I want to thank you for always showing us all the new products that you buy and use it really helps much better than just reading reviews. I am just so amazed how clear and colorful it was on that rainy day.
MyBackyardBirding yep, Plus this is only a few dollars perfect for someone just starting out. Cameras and the zoom lens ( good glass anyways) can be expensive and the learning curve high. Learn to produce good films then upgrade is the way to go IMHO ! I’m going to pick this up and test out making some videos.
..Honestly. The good shots of the birds are NOT -*N O T* made with that flimsy contraption! The nice shots are rectangular, the digiscope make circular, and absurdly distorted pictures! At the edge of the view, nothing looks right, that is because an absurd huge spherical distortion in spottingscopes. I have not seen ONE digiscope kit that delivers any kind of useful result! This one is not different at all. That is clearly shown form the distortion, and discolouring round the visual field. The optics of cell-phones and spotting-scopes are simply not possible to 'merge' with good results.
If you watched the video you would see how the rectangular shots were made using the camera zoom on the phone . Of course using this setup is a compromise, but pretty good and affordable to begin practicing and learning how to improve.
Wow surprisingly good optical quality for the price ! Thanks for the upload also well done of your 100K subscribers
Thanks! 👍
@@MyBackyardBirding my scope zooms to 125x magnification my phone zooms 8x does that mean if my scopes at 125 my phone zooms that by 8x

Wow cool. I will check it out.
wonderful video !
I can’t find Open Camera in the Apple App Store. Is there another app that is comparable?
Nice video
Good information my friend.
Greetings, Francisco
Where was the seed that the birds are eating? Did u put a post up against the tree? That looks so cool!
That's some suet and sunflower seeds pushed into a crevas on the tree makes a great natural feeding station!

ANY BLU TOOTH MOUSE WILL PAIR WITH A SMART PHONE.
Get the Uber size tripod it comes with remote for your camera
I will try with my telescope
What’s the brand name of your scope
It was Wosport, but I don't think its selling under that name anymore. Basically a generic one that is branded under different names.

best use a digitalcamera and zoom len...
better clear perfect focus than cellularphone camera
Sure, but everyone already has a smart phone.
