    God, I didn’t expect this on my lunch break today. As a husband and father, and I’m in tears listening to Britney’s story. She’s trying to laugh through so much anguish. I’m so glad John was so direct with her and interrupted her as she tried to defend him.

    This episode hit home. To the 2nd caller, as a mother of a 23 and 19 year old now, I had somewhat the same situation happen to me, listen to Deloney! It's tough now, it really can be...but I can also guarantee you that along the way, these kids will see for themselves what you see now, and the day will come when these kiddos will be so PROUD of the momma they have and the woman you will become! Take care, love yourself, find support and be Strong!

    Let caller #2 be a lesson to all women. Stop having children with men who say they want to have a family when he has not invested in you by marrying you and providing the family structure first

      Bit of victim blaming can't do any harm, right?

    • @sportscarman5
      @sportscarman5 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's not victim blaming. Pointing out that there are things that you should avoid does not equal "well you deserved it" I have a young daughter. Telling her to not go to college parties and get so drunk that she blacks out around people she doesn't know it's not blaming her. It's just a fact that her being at a college party and blacking out would put her in more danger.

Safety is first, and hopefully he sees himself in the mirror and wants to change ❤

      @@normaortega4654 I live in a very small community. There aren’t any homeless shelters or women’s shelters anywhere nearby. With the kids in school and my job being out here, it’s hard to get to a shelter. I think the funds of our county help set people up in hotels if need be, but I then worry about my precious items being left behind (such as my grandpas guitar collection). It would be better if he would leave to go somewhere while we take time apart but I don’t think he will.

    Hope she knows that every community should have support for domestic abuse. Even if Britney does not
    leave soon she can get counseling how to extricate herself from the situation. She is not alone - abuse is
    unfortunately very common.

    God bless Britney. She's married to a coward and a bully. I pray she follows Dr. Delony's urgent guidance, 10:1 she won't. I hope that doesn't happen, the cycle needs to stop. She's in the driver's seat, all she needs to do is leave.
    Or regret not doing so.
