Jak was something amazing, it was one of those things that probably will never be matched. The trilogy is an experience that I would recommend to anyone: great gameplay, great cinematics, great twists and of course really funny and cool. The game had personality and attitude and it was just amazing.
I have not played the trilogy when it came out, but this is what a 2004 boy could think after playing these games: "Superfast loadings. In the next gen (PS3) they will be normal." Well, today with ps5 we reached this achievrment. But it is funny thinking about Jak Trilogy, over 15 years old games with these loadings pratically absent!

eh... it looks a bit off. Like the detective pikachu movie. Photorealism doesn't mean everything is fuzzy and shiny. They could totally go the direction PIXAR movies play it tho. They manage to blend photorealism with stililzed character designs flawlessly

The ps2 graphics already look juicy tho why change it why change the main trilogy why not just make jak 4 with these graphics what the fuck is wrong with the gaming community it’s as if we want to replace every classic with modern graphics it’s sad

The Last of Us began life as Jak 4. Naughty Dog realised it wouldn't be true to Jak, so they opted to make it a new IP. So basically what I'm saying is shut the fuck up. You don't want Naughty Dog to make Jak 4.

They haven't been forgotten. I go to Full Sail and an art director from Naughty Dog who graduated from here occasionally comes to visit for student advisory boards. I got the chance to ask him what's going on with Jak and Daxter and he told me that they were really focused on Uncharted, and now The Last of Us is really demanding...he said they're trying to figure out how to reintroduce J&D to new gamers and still please the current fan base.
We NEED more Jak & Daxter! Jak 4 or a reboot, just give us something! Anything! The whole Jak & Daxter universe was epic and we miss it. The PS5 needs a Jak & Daxter game. Please.
Man all I want is a Jak sequel where he goes to the past as Mar and creates Haven city, could you imagine how much hype these two would bring if they announced a sequel?
