@@Blaze-qr6gy it’s not that vol 1 is boring, it’s setting up the world so that the story can move on smoothly without expositions. But vol 2 is when the story acts on the world that was built in vol 1

These are novels but not light novels. Light novels are usually classified as anime-like genres or novels native to Japan or likely to be adapted to anime.

At chapter 164, the story takes a big turn, and at chapter 200-ish everything comes crashing down, and u'll experience one of the biggest whipplashes i've ever read
Also, if u have trouble with motivation, every 20-ish chapter is a Tarot Gathering, which are very fun to read
