@@CellectricViolince Could I get in on this link goodness? I'm not familiar with you guys, but this piece is amazing, and I want more!! Is there a purchase link somewhere?
I would not. There is a massive difference in the beats, basses and other layers as well as the culture as a whole. That is my experience. Actually there is a difference in 1/16th between a kick and a snare in dnb as opposed to techno that makes all the differance, which blows my mind. This also has some jungle and breakbeat elements. All together,a beyond phenomenal composition from my perspective, both on the level of structure and feeling as it encompasess a whole lot of variety in the feeling, from deep and dark to catharsic, sentimental and cellestial and has a nice structure/flow to it with drops and tension and the solo in the right places and in the right ratio. And the samples are on spot and the solo is well executed. It has some elements of disharmony as well as sweet, warm harmony placed in the right manner in the right places so the composition has a nice dynamic on all levels. It also has an element of surprise to it on 6:10 in terms of structure. It is not a typical song, that is why I call it a commposition. Personally I do not like the high pitched samples in music, but this one is on spot. Reminds me a lot of Emancipator. I am no pro musician but do pay attention to these kinds of things. All in all, kudos to Cellectric Violince and this performance. Peace :D

One could say Drum n Bass is a type of techno?
