I'm with Sky 7 years and recently had to get a replacement router from them and basically no WiFi in my home now. They even sent out a booster (never needed a booster before) and no difference at all. Quite obvious they've downgraded the tech in the new routers to previous models.
I have one of theses Sky Hub max routers and the main issue im having with it right now is that some of my devices like my PS5 and TP-Link extenter cant find the 5ghz connection however other devices like my phone, xbox and other things can. If someone can help me i would appreciate it.
new hub iss wifi 6 and WPA3 so way more secure then your old one and your normal person so default security is fine, these hubs are made on mass for mass use. best hopes are always paid ones from third partys
Security firewall should be medium or nat type will fail im in middle of tweaking when recieve replacement if the hub still makes a clicking noise will be investigated not just clicking sounds like a electrical surge in bottom of hub & change wifi speed or wan only mode does not appear when should same has wifi speed in my wifi broadband settings to stop the clicking noise wan only mode stops the clicking noise it clicks because hub is trying to find dsl when connected to ont these issues will be investigated when contact sky further
Question please. Now you have a sky max sr213 router , is it better than your previous model and do you use Internet boosters please

How do u change channel bandwidth
Got my router yesterday - arranged to return it today. Absolutely no difference to wifi strength at all. In fact, it was worse.
Just a way to get more money from people. It's not worth it.
@@axores20 can you compare the booster with the new sky max pod
Sky q isn't a router it's a booster for contact to a TV.
I stoped useing sky max within 24 hrs and I find some one else for my internet
Do you have FTTP or FFTC?
It's fibre but to the exchange. Then i have normal wires coming inside the house. But here is the issue with wifi. Not good enough.
@@axores20 im getting the Max hub with my Gigabit FTTP package. Does it have WiFi 6? What were the speeds like?
