I recently got the 2019 version of i30N and man i have loved every second of driving it. Sheer pleasure and the smile everytime you hear those pops and bangs !! There is only 1 other thing i wish my car had and thats a sunroof !! but its just a personal preference thing.
I ordered the premium n with panoramic sunroof without test driving. Probably my first car ever I've purchased without even stepping foot into one lol. Thanks for the reassurance!
@@nolzojd Thanks ! As far as I know that is the only place in the world where they manufacture i30N is "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech" This is what they say: "Since its launch in 2017, more than 54,000 i30N units have been sold worldwide, including over 28,000 units in Europe..." I just wanted to know your ETA, I had my order in Sept. (babyblue hatchback performance) and I got 6 months ETA. 2 months elapsed still 4 ahead. Time goes so slowly, I can't believe.
Great review, I like the hot hatches like the I30 N, and the VW Golf GTI and R, they seem to make more exhaust sound than my Kia Stinger GT, and their power output is ever slowly closer to my Stinger's 272Kw / 365hp.
The problem with the GTI is that it has become too sensible and thus too boring for the typical hot hatch purchaser. These N cars are injecting some of that old school fun back into the segment.
Awesome video review of a very nice car, congratulations for your awsome car presentation channel. Greetings from Greece. (You can normalize the audio of the video in vidfeo processing, its just a click and the sound will be louder :) )
It’s easily removable. Plenty do it here in the uk. I’m not sure if I am correct in saying it is an anodised aluminium paint job, regardless, it also scratches easily seemingly.
About the N Light Seats: have you tested the Comfort Package seats with Alcantara and electric adjustment? I ordered mine with those, because they were the only ones avaible at the time and because the package includes a knee airbag and automatic side mirror lowering, for parking. I now have the chance to get one with he N Light Seats, but I am not sure if I should switch.
Not sure if we get that option here in Australia (wasn't available on both cars I tested). These bucket seats are rough on the lower back over long distance drives. So if you have any back issues, it might make it worse. But, if you're used to a bucket seat like this, then I'd grab the N Light Seats.
@@ProductReviewCars "These bucket seats are rough on the lower back over long distance drives." I am used the Recaros on my 2004 Cupra R, but I have lots of back issues nowadays; I think I am gonna stay with the Comfort Package, especially due to the knee airbag (friend of mine nearly died, because his kneecap shattered and lost around a liter of blood) and the side mirrors lowering function for easier parking
(Manual) transmission (2021 or 2022?) Hyundai i30 N model acceleration 0-100km/h is (5.9) second. 🤔 If that is true, then it will lose the (wet DCT) transmission equipped with an acceleration of 0-100km/h is 5.5-(5.3) second.
The golf interior is much more refined than the Korean offering. But then again it's now a substantial price increase. Shame the I30N doesn't get rear vents and USB sockets for a 50K car.
Will have to check out the Mk8 GTi to see if that’s true (seeing as the interior was the biggest complaint from a lot of reviewers). But, I could imagine that to be true. Yeah, not sure if it’s in the name of saving weight or what, but that cabin does get a little toasty.
Not a fan of the headlight/DRL integration. I prefer the preface. Just think about long term ownership, What happens when those LED DRLs stops working? You’re up for a new headlight assembly? 🤦🏼♂️ and I wonder how much would those cost! Very good marketing strategy in my opinion.
Interesting. I disagree, thinking it looks a whole lot better. However, it's becoming less and less easy to find halogen lights in cars that cost this much in 2022!
It's sadly the price we pay here in Aus. Would love to have more options for cars like the Type R or even the TLX. Type R was just as/even more expensive than the i30N here. Still, would love to review one.
@@ProductReviewCars Prob worth noting its in Australian dollars not US for any confusion. And general wages here are higher than the States! May seem overpriced, but it's all relative.
@@Ackz89 This^. Wasn't sure if the Aus accent was enough of a dead give away...or that the wheel is on the other side lol. Although, prices of new cars and used in the US seem to be catching up to our prices in Aus.

That's fair. I think the less weight the better, especially in the form of a sunroof. So ideal track-day spec you have there.
@@ProductReviewCars Havent had a chance to take it to track yet due to Lockdown in Auckland, but hopefully soon :D

If you had doubts, guarantee driving it will just seal the deal. Enjoy!
After the first driving you'll order one more, to have one in reserve.
I ordered one last month, good review ;)
me too :-)
Very jealous. Enjoy!!
Did you get an ETA ? When will you get the car ?
@@telelaci2 I have in my contract from 4 to 7 months. Im lucky that these cars are made in our country in Czech Republic - Nošovice. So its faster ;)

Haha cool to see Mosman in some of those clips. Nice video
Keen eye! Thanks for watching.
I had a I30 Fastback N was a great car and just loads of unmitigated fun.
so glad i went for the sedan just for its in cabin refinement less road noise and rear air vents also i get 8 liters per hundred down to 6 on highway
Impressed with that fuel economy tbh.
First brah, great video!
Yew! Thanks man!
Great Video, please do a review on the i20N!
Cheers! Have one already booked in. Will be reviewing that early March! Stay tuned and subscribed for that one.

This car is insane, it make you work harder to own it...!!

Which car is better between this and Subaru wrx for daily commute? Which back seat is more comfy?
I would prefer the sedan, but would try both.
You bet we're booked in to review the manual and automatic i30N Sedan! Very excited to share our experiences with them in the coming weeks.
@@ProductReviewCars Great, I'm all talk, will keep my mint 380. Lol good review.
Solid review mate! Do you know if the bar in the boot is removable?
Thank man! Sadly not. Like it’s certainly not easy if you could. Looks stuck in place.
I've heard somewhere else it actually is fairly easily removable for more space, not sure how though
Interesting! Although can’t imagine I’d recommend that haha.

yes, it is removable !! maybe 5-10 minutes worth of work before your long trip !
Yes to those main binnacle gauges over the hideous N line square digital display all day every day.
Have to agree there.
Wow abut 15k less than the GTI golf more omph and no doubt will be a lot more reliable post warranty
Have heard only good things from owners with over 100,000km on the dash from their i30Ns.
The i30 is one of the most reliable cars currently, I highly doubt that the N version is any worse.

About 10-12L per 100km of driving. A little thirsty but that's expected.
