Great video! How can I use the People Web Part just for the new hire? Can I customize it? Thanks in advance.

People web part is static - you need to paste the name and then it will visualize the contact information. You cannot dynamically change the user names used in a web part.
What I can advise is to use News to publish information about new hires and inside the News use People web part. This approach is manual but works quite well.

hello, how do you open a new tab in the quick links web part, I think it doesn't have that option. Would you know how to create a quick links webpart, but when you click the link it opens a new tab??

Sometimes it is JavaScript error - Ctrl + F5 could help. If this will not resolve the problem it could be limited access rights.
