How to Catch Bully Mullet on FLY!

Later on will make a video using a bread fly (fake bread) to see if that would work as well, the beauty of a Bread fly would be that I would not have to keep re-baiting my hook. I'd probably only need to rub it into some real bread to add some scent for the bigger fish to pick it up.

Tie cotton wool to your hook. Does not come off very easily. They go for the colour. You may have multiple hook ups before you need to change the fly.

Pretty cool technique. You're missing fish because of slack though. Pro Tip- Always keep the tip of the rod pointed at the line touching the water.

if you put a small bit of squid in your hook then cover it with bread you will hook one nearly every time.

You might as well bait fish with a spinning rod, the whole purpose of “fly” fishing is that ya gotta replicate insects and such in the water, good job though

The point of a Fly rod is to cast something thats weighs near nothing. So if you want to use spinning tackle you have to add a float and/or weights. But with only one hook on a fly rod i have found that I catch way more like, 1 a session on spinning tackle and 10+ on Fly.

Well, I normally use a bread Fly which is exactly the same as what I'm doing here with the bait but with fibers. The only reason I use the fly rod is to be able to get a proper cast with only a very small hook and bait.
