What a wonderful long podcast!! Happy Anniversary, Lori! 30 years is a milestone. Justine, I pray your son's eyes improve! I LOVE Berocco yarn! It's such a workhorse yarn! The Doodle sets and yarn look so fun! And, a Miss Babs trunk show sounds spectacular! Again, I wish I was closer!!
Hi girls❤️ Cath and I did a podcast from Block Island last May - after visiting you❣️ We podcast from a couple different locations! It was so much fun. My husband’s dear friends own Three Sisters sandwich shop. Lori, tell Brigid John Langdon’s wife says hi😊 oh and yes, Sven closed the mill but still selling handmade goods. Hope to see you soon - I know we will be up in October, hopefully😊 sooner
Such a great episode! I’m so happy it was 2 hours. I made my family watch it with me for evening tv time 😂 I wanted to make a pressed flowers shawl but now I’m rethinking the cardi. It looks so good!
Missed you ladies!!! So so so good to see y’all! Hugs from Ohio (I’m NOT stalking Skein, btw. Lol - thank you for helping me on insta, also!) ☺️🫶🏻🧶. Xx ~ Lisa
This was so enjoyable. Love all the projects and yarns. I'm knitting with Ito Kinu right now and I hope you will continue to stock it and get more colors! Always love the stories about Charlotte and I hope there will be another Vlogmass this year.
Congratulations on your 30 year anniversary! We just had our 48th on June 5! I’m looking at Pressed Flowers cardigan and just might have to jump on the bandwagon as I’m a sucker for a KAL😊
I can see why Orbit shawl / scarf is so popular - I think I need it, too! LOL Apart from looking fun to wear, it has "quick and easy gift knitting" written all over it.
Velaris is a hidden city from the A Court of Thorns and Roses books by Sarah J Maas. Dark Academia is an aesthetic that is trending now for clothes & home decor. Think blazers with elbow patches, leather covered books, and rich moody colors. Love all those color kits😍
Hi ladies - great episode. Justine, you stressed me out so much watching you wave the Cinnabar shawl around without stitch stoppers on the needles - I could just imagine all the stitches flying off 🤣 and love that Partnership Shawl. I definitely agree with that motto - follow your joy and just cast it on!
HAHAHAHAHA! Kath-your Half + Half Triangles Wrap is stunning! Did you love making it? I have toyed with the idea of making one for a few years now. 🤣🤣🤣
I love your podcast. You two seem to have so much fun. Lori, congrats on 30 years! Justine I hope your son is doing better. I have so many new patterns added to my Ravelry library. And seriously thinking about the Pressed Flowers KAL. Lovely enablers you are. 😂 Also, the rust bags in the bins behind your heads, for sale? (You’ve answered my question about the OhWow bags. Just trying to decide which bag(s)
Love you two! Hopefully I’ll be in to see you soon. I’m still recovering - but getting better every day. New wrinkle - I broke my right wrist and am currently unable to knit. UGH! ❤️❤️❤️
Sorry about that long link. But if you go to Salem Essex is about 20 mins away and Woodman’s of Essex is great fun and delicious lobster. The ice cream is wonderful. Love the super casual atmosphere too.
Makes my day whenever I see your podcast pop up in my feed. Truly, you two are the funniest people…and so real! Love every project you show, want to make everything you show, want all the things you show. Then I come back to reality and realize I already have a serious case of SABLE (stash acquisition beyond life expectancy) going on in my house! Loved all 2:03:11 moments!
I was almost in your neighborhood a couple weeks ago. I am a truck driver and my whole goal on our day off was to come visit you. Unfortunately, a load came up that needed to be done. I will be back soon (Hopefully!)
You ladies are amazing! And yes they will get back to you, I emailed, west coat time and Lori got back to me very quickly. I appreciate you. 2 👍👍......✌💜 til next time.
Loving the podcast! Did I hear you say something about a yarn advent swap??? Not sure, as I have been watching too many knitting podcasts on holiday and it has all become a blur. Anyway, if this is a plan, I would love to join in. Much as I appreciate the idea of an advent, they seem to be a little out of my price range. However, I have plenty of scraps to do an advent swap.
When you stick to the knitting and yarn and shop stuff it is great…perhaps leave the chit chat about your lives lives as there are many of us who aren’t looking for a “on line friend” but here for knitting…..at the end so those who don’t care can skip over…and the continual slurping,of your coffee and tea , licking fingers on screen …….while recording…..🤔
Ok. So. The start of the sweater is bottom up. So, before there is any crazy construction things that might be tricky, you do the same chart for INCHES before anything that could potentially be difficult comes up- so I feel like you have a good opportunity to get used to the pattern before you need to worry about the next step. Of course, I’m not at that part yet- but it is a well written pattern for sure so you just “trust the process and do one step at at time”

I love Justine’s shawl. The colors are incredible.
I wore my pressed flowers cardigan last year to Rhinebeck when I met you. I wish I had used nicer yarn. Maybe I’ll knit another one.
I can see why Orbit shawl / scarf is so popular - I think I need it, too! LOL Apart from looking fun to wear, it has "quick and easy gift knitting" written all over it.
It sure does, Denise! Thanks for watching! 🥰🥰🥰

How difficult do you think the Pressed Flowers Cardigan would be for an adventurous beginner that has never made a garment?

Hi, love the dustland shawl! Do you carry the color /brand it was knitted in?
It was made with Miss Babs Yowza DK. In the colorway peppercorn and we should be getting it at our trunk show in July.
