Amazing! I really enjoyed watching this. I have a lovely blue tit family coming to my bird feeder and it's so cute to see them feeding their babies. The babies are just as noisy as their parents haha. Thanks for uploading.

Cutest birds. Did they come back to your garden looking for feeders?

HELP NEEDED. I found a baby blue tit in the middle of the road. This one was way to young to be out of the nest. His eyes were still closed and he had no proper feathers. I have been feeding him chopped mealworms, baby crickets and chopped fishing maggots. He seems to be doing well. He now has his wing and tail feathers and is flying around the sitting room. I won't release him until he can feed himself and masters flight. The problem I have been noticing is that he commonly does this sort of dry retching thing (it's not the normal gaping and wing flutter when getting fed) He even does it when he is full and refuses food. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? I am hoping it's not trichomonas gallinae also known as canker. I would appreciate any input from someone knowledgeable in the field. If it is canker, is there a recommended treatment for such a small young bird?

What else could I feed a baby blue tit. As I've rescued a fledgling and can't find a vet until after the Bank Holiday weekend! X
