Who needs an orchestra when you've Jonathan Scott?
Someday I hope I will find a gentleman who will dance this waltz with me in a glorious gilded ballroom 🌹🤍🎩 this is sheer perfection! ❤
I see your left hand do this while your right hand does that and likewise your left foot and right foot while your eyes on the music and I say to myself “What a wonderful mind”. Those of us who cannot walk and chew gum at the same time are grateful that our ears are working just fine. God bless you, sir!
Delightful arrangement of a delightful waltz in a grand hall.
Very beautiful🍃thank you
That's one great sounding organ!
Hello!
We are now 15 januari
You never stop!!
I like it so much! Thank you beautiful brothers! I,m looking forward this hole year!!
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Again yet another great organ with A different tonal range, and you found the very best choice of stops, can hear the different builder and restorers influences wonderful performance and again thanks to Tom.
Great music and amazing organist !
Prachtige, weergave..genieten!
Utterly Stunning, You’re a musical magician. I have never heard this piece jump off the keyboard the way you play it, it dances through the whole building like it has probably never danced before!! As always, nothing short of Brilliant!!!
One of the selections from his Christmas, 2021 concert on the Hull U.K. City Hall organ. From Chicago, U.S.A.
I'm dancing with myself! I have this "fear" that one day you both won't be able to top past performances - Yet you always succeed in doing that. Thank You for ALWAYS adding JOY to both: Bad & Great days! with utmost Respect & love, BENJY
👋👋👋🎹🥰😍❤🎹🎶🎹🎵👏
What a fantastic organ that is. I am enthralled by Jonathans playing. What an uplift to a Monday morning!
BEAUTIFUL
Delightful!! both this Tchaikovski waltz and Jonathan's arrangement.
This waltz was used with an exquisite! choreography in a splendour of a St.Petersburg palace ballroom in the best 1997 movie of Anna Karenina with the lovely Sophie Marceau and Sean Bean.
Beautiful rendition of the piece.
Admirables hermanos. Feliz sábado, desde México.(Juve Flores)..
Thank you. I enjoyed that!
One of the finest concert organs which started 'life' as a Compton organ, 'the father of wonderful voicing of diaphones and a master builder who not only built this concert organ but also many church, cathedral and even fine theatre organs; needless to say, Jonathan is a prime concert organist who not only performs with grand virtuosity but also has a wonderful sense for sensitivity for registration as well as the total understanding for the Art of the musical phrase . BRAVO! Tom is a not only a brilliant concert pianist but also a brilliant photographer as is evident in all of the two brothers presentations!
Originally built 1911 and it was the Magnum Opus of the local builder, Forster & Andrews. John Compton re-built it after bomb-damage destroyed the original F&A console & broke open the roof over the organ chamber. Probably damaged the pipes too.
The Hull Corporation knew the work of Compton after they had them rebuild the organ of what is now Hull Minster in 1937. Only within the past 2 years has it been silenced by wear & tear on the action. I think the Compton console may have a preservation order on it, so it has to be kept. I think Compton were better known for Cinema organs.
Bravo! From America!
It was all I needed to hear today. I feel dancing listening to this wonderful arrangement. Too beautiful. This effect of the bells is charming. Very good taste, Jonathan. It makes me want to step into the video screen and personally greet you and Tom, who, like you, has excellent taste in filming. Always grateful for the daily gifts to her audience, which is thankfully growing. Congratulations! A great weekend to you and everyone! Hugs from Brazil!
At what time in the clip were the bells you were referring to?

Every time I listen to you playing an arrangement like this you take me on a journey somewhere beautiful and magnificent. Thank you for sharing your brilliance, I hope this channel grows beyond what you ever imagined!
This is beautiful! It is one of my biggest dreams to play the pipe organ.
Thank you gentlemen. This was just grand!
Exquisitely, makes my day joyful and full of energy, thank you very much for giving us this piece of art
Fantastic Jonathan!
If this doesn’t give you goosebumps, you should check for a pulse!
Wonderful played as always Jonathan!😁👍👏👏👏👏
Just beautiful! Both the Tchaikovski waltz and performed on an organ!
Thank you! This waltz was used in the great 1997 movie Anna Karenina with the lovely Sophie Marceau as Anna, and
as well a great choreography for both audio and visual pleasure.
A beautiful arrangement and performance, and excellent audio and video. Thanks, Jonathan and Tom.
Grazie.
A wonderful performance! I knew that Hull City Hall had an organ, but did not know that it was such a grand one.
I hope it gets played often!
You two are sooo underrated!
By whom? I suspect you meant "not well-known enough"; I think almost everyone who knows of them rates them very highly ...
Wow! Absolutely phenomenal, impressive, amazing. Thank you very much!
What an amazing performance 👏🏻 always love the second half of this piece
" . . . always love the second half of this piece" Emphatically agree! The crescendo beginning at 6:00 building to the climax beginning at 7:03 is (IMHO) one of Tchaikovsky's finest creations.
@@schroedingersdog7965 I completely agree. The whole piece is beautiful, so many elements. Tchaikovsky and Saint Saens are my two favourite composers, probably the layers to the music, where you enjoy the harmony and base tones as much as the melody 😊
@@schroedingersdog7965 So nice to find someone who knows what crescendo means, and uses the term properly! (And isn't afraid to use the term climax when that is what is meant!)
This was so brilliant it made my hair stand on end. I do hope you include it in your next CD. It's great that you're taking so many wonderful classical pieces and arranging them for organ. Please keep it up. If you would, could you try and do Ronald Binge's Elizabethan Serenade sometime.
Thanks. We are waiting this on all chanel TV.
Grande il "bambino di vetro" 🦢
Bravo - more !!
♥️♥️♥️
Bravo
nice good performance
Jonathan, I had to double check to make sure I was in the right place! The change of jacket color and the haircut had me confused, but I like the change up!
Wow.
This is insanely good...
All of the organ playing is excellent as we have come to expect from JS but the section that impresses me a great deal is 4:12 to 4:42 - I'm no musician - not in the slightest but left and right playing two different melodies at the same time and (I think at a different tempo though I could be wrong) I just cannot relate to how it's possible.
❤️❤️❤️
Wao
What organ is this?
Hull City Hall, Kingston-upon-Hull, UK.
@@elijahharris1113 beautiful and thanks
My home town. A school friends father was the organist there. Sadly I missed Jonathan's concert there by one week , I had returned back to London my home for 46 years now .
