@@jimjimhuertabecause most people don’t buy them. Something like 80 or 85% of Wranglers are 4 door variants, I think the Bronco is even higher than that.
I like it except dont want it in 4xe which I find unimpessive so I agree with your view I'll throw shade at jeep for this My daughter had a 4xe as a rental gas mileage was horrible in gas mode Jeep just doesn't want to sell cars looking forward to big discounts on 2025s
I'm really disappointed that this is only avaiable in the 4XE. You would think they would at least make this avaible on the 2 door since you know the orginal willy was a 2 door?? Other than the 4XE part I really love the way this jeep looks especially the tan seats, come on Jeep let me get a new Jeep with the tan seats!
Up here in Canada probably 80% of the Wranglers rotting on the dealer lots are 4xe's. Obviously they are not selling as well as the gassers. Price is the main obstacle I'm sure but it never seemed to make sense to me to take the best offroad vehicle you can buy and load it up with all that complexity. Hard core wheelers want as simple as possible and that's never going to change.
I have a 2021 Jeep 4dr Willys edition with the V6 and a manual transmission. Love it! Almost 40,000 miles. Jeep replaced the clutch and pressure plate due to recall. Otherwise zero, yep!, zero problems or issues.
Agree with you guys, Jeep should of made up the 2 and 4 door as a 41 without the 4xe !! Maybe they will get their head out of butt and do a special edition ?

A trim package isn't going to sway people to or from 4XE. 4XE is about $8000. It's a heck of a lot of money, and IMO that is the biggest blocker to teh 4XE, plus it adds weight, and has issues...
Every 24 rubicon 4xe Iv seen has the full float rear and cast knuckle front. Would have been cool to see a fold down tailgate on the 41 package. On yours i think tan top and burlap bag seats.
I remember the first time that I saw a 4XE on a lot and I thought “wow a blue trimmed Rubicon!”. The blue accents looked really cool. When I realized blue accents meant 4XE, the blue tow hooks became a quick eye roll for me and still does every time I see them. The Jeep base customers don’t want the 4XE package on a Wrangler. Jeep can glitz or add any alluring option that they want. Their customers won’t cave on 4XE just to get a visual option. I agree with you guys 100%… make this Jeep a standard gas powered Willy’s and it sells out instantly. Wake up Jeep!
I believe that the biggest problem is not that it’s only 4xE but it is not equipped with front lockers and sway bar disconnect! Just like the normal Willys!
I'm 52, owned several Jeeps over the years. Currently in an 18 JLUR. Jeep is doing a really good job pushing me away. Not happy about only being able to get a 3.6 in a manual, and I have NO desire to get a 4Xe!

This is interesting but I have to shake my head in disbelief. Honestly I had no interest in this 41 Jeep and I am a veteran. I am dead set on the orange or bright green. That being said, this Jeep 41 looks pretty awesome and If I saw it on the lot in a manual shift, gas and not electric I think I would buy it. But in a electric model no way. They would have been better off making it diesel. This is just Jeep giving what no one asked for. BTW tan seats and tan top all the way. make the rims more authentic if possible. DRC2024
The 4xe electric system is only 25mpg but both combined with gas is 53mpg. I drove 330 miles the other day and the car only used 200. But the mileage was at 315 when I left my destination.
Stellantis needs to wake up man. This is a prime example of why they are free falling. This is easily the best thing they have come up with in YEARS, then they try a sales gimmick and lock it behind the 4XE platform that NOBODY wants. Give the people what they want, and youll get more sales. You hit the nail on the head, its going to get attention by its looks, but when people find out its only in a 4 door 4XE, theyll walk...

Unfortunately the Dan Cummings crew in parts and maintenance department looked at me like I was crazy when I talked about this part. Oh and the “ warranty “ I purchased for my tires because my spare tire has a massive bubble in the side wall. Was told to contact the tire vendor … ok thanks . Keep up the awesome videos guys .
In looking at your build, I think back to the 2004-2005 Willys edition that included certain trim elements of the WW II Jeeps. On that one, they had seats done in a camo, military style graphics as well as basic steel wheels. It was a neat model that is somewhat obscure these days. It may offer some more inspiration in your design. I drive a 2020 Freedom Edition which also has graphics including the parachute tailgate spec plate that you described as well as the invasion star and Oscar Mike name plate. You may be able to trck them down if desired. As for a 4Xe - no thanks - not interested as I will keep my 2020.
I have a 24 willys 4xe as my daily and I love it. I'd definitely buy another. I agree that Jeep should offer it beyond just in the 4xe and include it with the normal wrangler.
True fact: The Willys heritage is present on every Jeep wrangler 2 doors with stick shift, no matter the year of production or generation, engine or color body.
DRC 2024. I would have bought it if it wasn't a 4xe. I agree 100% with your one issue. The 4xe just doesn't work for me out west. I'm sitting on the sidelines trying to figure out if/what to buy and Jeep keeps packaging things in ways that just don't work for me. sigh, waaaa, etc. It's not about liking the 4xe for me. My problem is before 23 you could get khaki seats and soft top and make the OG larp jeep but now you gotta get a special edition for it. The new green is FANTASTIC though. Much more realistic drab green than the fake ah sarge green
I just picked up the 2024 Rubicon xtreme to make sure would get 3.6 with 35’s No desire for the 4xe Was going to wait until 2026 for new one but with the new direction- with engine shrink and electric - chose to go with 2024 - this is my fifth wrangler - Was a struggle as hate to say it but considered waiting and maybe Bronco as more options
I was going to order a 2025 Sahara non-4xe, but it appears they removed Anvil. According to the current order guide and online configurator, you can only get a 2025 Sahara in anvil if you get a 4xe. Frustrating!
Tan seats are the Biz-ness. Tan top… only on select colors. But I still wouldn’t get this even if it wasn’t on a 4xE. The next Jeep for me is going to be a Skittles color. But, It’s getting into the pricing territory where a Land Rover Defender is truly a cross-shopping option. Seriously, if I’m spending $60k+, I’m going to take a serious look at a Defender 90 or 110.
If I wanted a Willys I would totally get the 4xe version. I prefer the Rubicon, however. I think those wheels are sick but I am worried it would limit me on tire size.
Its also really weird because the normal willys 4xe and willys with the v6 both come with a diff lock, but the 41 4xe doesnt, also not coming with a stick is crazy

I ordered a Rubicon X in the 41 color. Won't be here until mid December. I really wish it had the option for tan interior. I may order some catzkin seat covers and redo my seats sometime in the future, but thinking of going with an olive or khaki color. I think the olive colored seats would look great in your build.
Also agree it sucks you can only get certain options with certain pkgs or colors. Couldn’t get a Crystal granite with a one touch sky top. Heck I’d get a 392 if you could get it in fathom blue and a sky one touch but all they came in were the hard tops.

When you said "charge port" my enthusiasm plummeted. I have one of those paperweight 4xe's right now and will not go back to the 4xe ever again. I highly recommend that if Jeep wants to be environmentally sound they explore hydrogen power rather than electric hybrid. Give me a gasser!!! #DRC24 Pat
Getting ready to buy my 1st off roaster. Will be my primary vehicle and mostly driving on the beach. I love this special edition 41, but I want to buy a forever vehicle and the 4xe technology will probably scare me away from purchasing this model.
When I was using the configurator, it says this trim doesn't have locking rear axles,and it only lists 3.73 gears, and doesn't have off-road plus. So confusing. Also compared to the standard 4xe willys it doesn't incude the tow package. Really weird, seems that it mght be a combo of a sports, a willys and s Sahara, and a little Rubicon sprinkled in. I'd like more clarification on that. Hope they just need to fix the Jeep Website. I hate that also it's only offered on the 4xe. Cool if the full float rear axle is what's on all the 4xe's though.
Is it not going to be offered this year? It's really strange how there has been no announcement or confirmation either way also. Especially considering it's available in the manual as well as with the auto in the Gladiator.
4Xe has less range than the 4cyl turbo due to its smaller tank. Who wants that?? Nobody! Great concept. Should be available on other trims. Would LOVE it on the 392 Final Final Edition, but with light tan leather seats.
I've been looking for a Wrangler 4-door for several months. I've never owned one. I finally found a 2024 S model 4 door, 6cyl, auto trans. MSRP $48,155. After some negotiating, I got them down to $39,000 OTD. I haven't bought it yet.....But is this a good deal?
Booo, on a Willy’s 4Xe…..And I’m retired military..You just wait..in the 4th quarter of 25, Stellantis will be boohooing about lack of sales. With overall bad customer service with Cares not getting customers vehicle’s fixed in a timely manner, too no accountability with poor customer service at dealerships service departments. And, tack on lack of parts availability and both parties pointing fingers back at each other regarding customer wait times and complaints. Maybe Stellantis should use social media to benefit sales. I can tell you, I believe most people won’t buy jeep products if there are a lot of complaints about poor service, no parts to fix the jeep, Willy’s on a 4Xe platform. Etc, etc….Social media makes 10 issues sound like a thousand and the consumer knows no different. That hurts sales. Maybe Stellantis should be more transparent about what its doing to fix there customer related issues. Send out different survey’s to its customers and or social media groups.
This reminds me of Disney marketing. We will give you what you “want” BUT it’s going to be filled with things you don’t want. You can have a WWII styled Jeep BUT it’s an electric 4 door. It’s a way to bring up their electric Jeep sales and that’s it.
I have 2 24 4xe's. No real gripes yet. I do, however, have a gripe with my new grill lamps. The lights are fine. Great, even. The app is shite 💩. I got pulled over on day 3 of running g them. They went into red green flash. I had last set them to "amber " and them I showed the cop it said red strobe. They never stay connected.
*7:45 : Not to mention the 4xe is just too expensive for some of us up front. We could have possibly afforded a non 4xe version of this on the willy's that came in $5-$10K lower. Not all of us hate the electrification; I myself am both hardcore off-roader AND daily driver 10-15miles/way to work each day, and I wouldn't mind having the 4xe option on that car to save some daily driving fuel. I simply can't afford it. My daily is a smoking beautiful 2018 JLU Sahara with every upgrade available except leather seats, and I got it 4 years old with 33K miles for $38K two years ago. To build this thing today is INSANE, let alone to electrify it. So, yea, just saying. There are lots of different kinds of Jeep lovers and some of us love all options, we just want MORE options (to your so eloquently stated point ;) )

I had a 1946 Willys that i just traded in on a 4xe i don't mind the 4xe system and so far its been a great car
The tan seats do look good with that green. However, a olive drab canvas color would be way more accurate.

For the seats, go with a mix of olive dran and tan. Same for the top. And I believe the original material was canvas too.

my 2022 high tide at 50k is looking like a great buy with every new jeep drop.

Also compared to the standard 4xe willys it doesn't incude the tow package. Really weird, seems that it mght be a combo of a sports, a willys and s Sahara, and a little Rubicon sprinkled in. I'd like more clarification on that. Hope they just need to fix the Jeep Website. I hate that also it's only offered on the 4xe. Cool if the full float rear axle is what's on all the 4xe's though.
Also it being a 4xe is a big no just because of the whole catching on fire thing when charging
I keep checking with a Jeep dealer on the availability of the 3.6 V6/8-speed automatic. So far nothing.
Is it not going to be offered this year? It's really strange how there has been no announcement or confirmation either way also. Especially considering it's available in the manual as well as with the auto in the Gladiator.

4Xe has less range than the 4cyl turbo due to its smaller tank. Who wants that?? Nobody!
Great concept. Should be available on other trims. Would LOVE it on the 392 Final Final Edition, but with light tan leather seats.

I've been looking for a Wrangler 4-door for several months. I've never owned one. I finally found a 2024 S model 4 door, 6cyl, auto trans. MSRP $48,155. After some negotiating, I got them down to $39,000 OTD. I haven't bought it yet.....But is this a good deal?
Booo, on a Willy’s 4Xe…..And I’m retired military..You just wait..in the 4th quarter of 25, Stellantis will be boohooing about lack of sales. With overall bad customer service with Cares not getting customers vehicle’s fixed in a timely manner, too no accountability with poor customer service at dealerships service departments. And, tack on lack of parts availability and both parties pointing fingers back at each other regarding customer wait times and complaints. Maybe Stellantis should use social media to benefit sales. I can tell you, I believe most people won’t buy jeep products if there are a lot of complaints about poor service, no parts to fix the jeep, Willy’s on a 4Xe platform. Etc, etc….Social media makes 10 issues sound like a thousand and the consumer knows no different. That hurts sales. Maybe Stellantis should be more transparent about what its doing to fix there customer related issues. Send out different survey’s to its customers and or social media groups.

This reminds me of Disney marketing. We will give you what you “want” BUT it’s going to be filled with things you don’t want. You can have a WWII styled Jeep BUT it’s an electric 4 door. It’s a way to bring up their electric Jeep sales and that’s it.
I have 2 24 4xe's. No real gripes yet. I do, however, have a gripe with my new grill lamps. The lights are fine. Great, even. The app is shite 💩. I got pulled over on day 3 of running g them. They went into red green flash. I had last set them to "amber " and them I showed the cop it said red strobe. They never stay connected.
It does look cool, But I am sure your 41 will look cooler !!!
*7:45 : Not to mention the 4xe is just too expensive for some of us up front. We could have possibly afforded a non 4xe version of this on the willy's that came in $5-$10K lower. Not all of us hate the electrification; I myself am both hardcore off-roader AND daily driver 10-15miles/way to work each day, and I wouldn't mind having the 4xe option on that car to save some daily driving fuel. I simply can't afford it. My daily is a smoking beautiful 2018 JLU Sahara with every upgrade available except leather seats, and I got it 4 years old with 33K miles for $38K two years ago. To build this thing today is INSANE, let alone to electrify it. So, yea, just saying. There are lots of different kinds of Jeep lovers and some of us love all options, we just want MORE options (to your so eloquently stated point ;) )
Honestly, I’m a 4xe fan, but this should have been a manual shift 2-door.
