nice tips man :)
Good advice for sure!
Nice list my friend! You’re def doing it right and I’m proud of you. 😊 Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Good stuff!
In summary bro, you’re a responsible young adult. You even admit that there isn’t any secret sauce, it’s just always monitoring your finances and making changes quickly when they’re needed. Props to you my man and good job!!
Thanks!
Responsible?? There is another video where this idiot does 175mph on a US highway.
Everybody has an opinion, and none of it matters. Live your life, be happy, and follow your own path. You don't have to explain or justify yourself to anyone. Goof for you for being a hard worker, good with your finances, staying away from bad habits, and being able to take care of yourself and your business. Kudos.
Nice tips!
very good advice
Really admire your resolution and perseverance. I am 23, around your age, and also sorta have a mid-range income job. Your advice is exactly what I need to become financially independent.
Love your content man. I currently own a black g87 and a black mark 8 gti at 21. Fantastic combo. Keep up!
Congrats! Thank you
Well said young man
Those are great tips, there are big automotive youtubers out there who make a living just from youtube and dont really need another job or they have another job just in case anything happens,I am 20 right now and i dont dont have any bad habbits like drinking alcohol, smoking or even doing drugs, and i will never ever do that in my life cause its just stupid and big waste of money and bad for your health. If you want to achieve anything like buying your own house, or buying your dream car,you have to work for it,save your money, get a job that pays well and so on. Obviously it will be a long process but it will be worth it in the end, basically what i say to my friends is to never give up on their goals and keep going.
Well said!
So inspiring my friend..👍👍
Great video as always! I just had a question, how did you start out at the car dealership? Were you something like a porter or in the service department and moved up to sales? And if so how long did it take to reach sales and are there any tips you could give?
Hi thanks for watching! Yes, I was a Porter then moved into sales. I was a Porter for 2 years because I was still in college.
@@JVette01 Awesome thanks. Whatd you go to college for and do you think it helped you reach the sales position?
I got an associates of business. And no, with sales you don’t need college experience.
Nice video with some solid advice. I don't have the personality for sales and ultimately ended up going to college. Ended up with a well paying internship that allowed me to graduate without student loans. Cars are my passion but ultimately realized that it's more worth it for me to have a semi responsible daily driver and have a older fun car on the side so I can spend my money traveling. Everyone has a method so gotta do what works for your situation.
That’s great! Everyone spends money on different things
Thanks for the tips man, as 22 year old i’m tryna do good, save, and one day drive some thing nice too
You got this!
Bro I wished I locked in earlier in life like you . Going through a couple cars myself but now I’m 30 lol. Kudos my friend 🥂
Excellent Advice, kudos to you. I might add do make my mistakes and buy older cars either. You save $$ upfront but they all turn into endless money pits. Sooner or later.
True. Cars are never necessarily a good financial investment. They’re things we like to enjoy but cost us money haha
Respect!
Well, you're ahead of me. I grew up with Dragon Ball and Toonami. 1989. I'm still trying to find jobs and figure out how to get more money. The most I've done is work at Pixar as an intern in 2019, and I worked at Deck Nine Games from 2021-2023.
We all shine at different times you got this man
Do you man. You are managing your finances better than a lot of people.
Thank you!
Hey JVette01, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made.
I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Glad that you found your way in life so early man!
Don't agree on C8 though, took in on the track a couple times, what a marvelous machine, but my wife and kid only let my buy 8R :D
Can’t fit in the c8 comfortably unfortunately haha and still haven’t really warmed up to it
Your adeptness in managing finances at such a tender age is truly commendable! The openness and pragmatic counsel you offer hold immense value for youths embarking on their financial journey. Continue producing stellar content!
Thanks!
Something you said at the start, my high school motto - Quae Seminaveris Metes. It's latin for what you sow so shall you reap. It's something everyone one should strive to do no matter what you are doing or trying to achieve 👌
This is similar to what I'm doing now, I'm a vw tech at 22 on the steady grind 😎. I got a '23 pomelo 40th anniversary gti and I'm happy with it
Nice! Keep working hard 💪
That was a good list. I live the same way and no bad habits, that is key as I look around. People that are into drugs with a bunch of gold on and showy with the clothes and bragging are the type to stay away from. Look forward to a full review of the M2.
Thanks for watching! Check out my M2 playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL7hs59v20pjAaWuOWBWyCr0UD-k5-Yw8j.html&si=Gv8amdYQRtwjG3_m
Good for you bro, everyone is different. I’ll save and invest, one day I’ll get an m2 cash and won’t think twice
That’s awesome! You can do it
Hey bro i want buy i 2024 m2 but it’s possible to tuned?
You can tune it, yes. You’d need to send out your ECU to Finland to be unlocked though. That starts getting pricey
Curious how much you got trading in the gti?
It was 25,500 before the trade-in tax credit
Dividend Bull is a great channel and reminds me of this channel even though it's a car channel.
Do u mind sharing the monthly on ur m2 with 10k down? Because i sorta had plan to put 15-20k down on a very slightly used M2 under 10k miles. 😅

I recommend also checking the forums to see what credit unions have the best rates, I’m 22 also and my loan on my G87 was at 3.74% but I bought it back in june 2023. Make sure you’re getting a good deal if it’s used, otherwise it might be more worth it to spec it out exactly how you want and get it new
@@InclineDumbbell u cant order from factory? Or u can im not sure because toyota supra i think u cant. Thats a good interest rate damn
@@Ronrrr BMW you can order from factory, I had the first custom build allocation at my dealer 😂 Toyota I don’t think offers that. The Supra is a great car also but literally every part is BMW (even the Toyota badge) so idk how I would feel servicing it at Toyota. Yeah the rates have gone up a bit since then as well. Before tax and license it was 79k fully specced for the G87, I definitely think it was worth it though considering an identical spec G82 is 20k extra
@@InclineDumbbell 79k? Did u tick off every option? Cuz the msrp is 63k lmao. Only thing i add is carbon roof. All i care for. And toronto red
Great video and great job! I enjoy your videos a lot! I love cars and getting into a new one every couple of years.
A couple of things people should keep in mind: we haven’t seen a major recession since 2008 and it’s a matter of time before the next major recession; cars depreciate and can become a headache to maintain. Jobs aren’t guaranteed and the stock market can have a major correction.
You bring up a good point! Which is why I’m in a very good position on all of my cars and have rainy day fund saved up!
I know who that M340 reference was for😏😏
😂😂
My biggest bad habit and money drainer is food. Do a how to eat cheap video lol
Yeah, food is one of those things where it’s better to buy your stuff in bulk and prep your meals/eat at home. I’m guilty of going out to eat a little too much sometimes but never enough to be more than like $400/month
I bought a Viper and an Escalade at age 19, selling cars. Having said that, I hope you been saving because the crash is coming. Its going to be brutal next year for the car industry.
It’s been pretty consistent for me (knock on wood) but yes I always save up at least 6 months of bills available now that’s not invested just in case.
It depends on what part of the country you live. I'm in the east coast. Bought a house have a wife. Both work. I have a government job. Drive 2 AMGs plus mortgage. If I move down south. Which is the plan in 5yrs. Retire with no mortgage. Before the age of 60.
Good plan!
I'm impressed. I was only able to accomplish that at 32.
Thank you! Everyone moves at different paces. If I had a job that did not pay as much it would take me longer to do the same
Shoulda ended at 0:56 lol
Good point haha
I got into car sales at 24 unfortunately I went to a shit dealer that really gave me a bad experience for the industry… I quit that and haven’t been in the industry since.. It really sucks because I thought that was my lottery ticket… If I ever move out of South Florida maybe ill try it again
Some dealers are horrible to work for. I got lucky that my one and only dealership is great
@@JVette01 I’m glad its going good for you man 👍
@Dillon000 thanks!
So many people in this country getting scammed. You don't own them if you're financing them do you? The bank holds the original copy of the title does it not?
The Golf is paid off and I have the title. The M2 is still financed with a relatively small balance, so no title yet on that one until its paid off.
22? I think that is more of a shock to me than anything. You could be my son. lol. You missed a couple of points. First, don't get married. Second, don't have kids.
😂
Shit he could be my son as well. I'm really feeling old watching this lol
Lemonade stand 😂😂😂😂
When the loan rates on vehicles is "low", you're money ahead leaving your money in the stock market and taking out a loan. My credit union currently has car loans (for those with good credit) at around 6% (depending on term). Historical stock market returns are around 10% (past performance not guarantee of future...yada...yada). Same logic applies to home loans. Back when auto and home loans were very low (some car loans were even 0%) it was fiscally irresponsible (in my opinion) to pull money out of savings/stocks/etc, especially if it was tax-deferred like a 401k (where you'd be penalized as well).
Well said
Cars will be worth half the final cost of what you paid for them in 4-5 years. I’m not saying you’re not successful but you could be investing wiser. What will you have if you sold your home right now? What will you have if you sell all assets? Having debt like this at 22 is not something to brag about.
I’m in the construction business and I waited until 26 to buy my first house and is a fixer upper. After the first year my house is worth double and I have assets I can sell. Equity is everything
Still most people can’t do what you do at 22 good job man.
1. I understand cars depreciate. Any car will 90% of the time. I don’t buy them to make money, I know what I’m getting into. Anyone “could be investing wiser.”
2. My home is worth a decent bit more than what I paid for it and I have tons of equity in it.
3. I’m not “bragging” about anything, just addressing comments I get very often. The only “bad” debt is the M2 as my other car is paid off. And the balance is very low on the M2.
4. Congrats on your first home, I decided to go a different route as I wanted a new build and not deal with headaches of fixing things.
Thanks for the comment.
the opportunity cost of those cars you are carrying are massive.
You're 22?!!? I thought you were a lot older.
Debt on liabilities at 22? Ok cool lol
Thanks!
It just doesn't add up at all...
What doesn’t?
In summary NO WIFE if you want to afford luxurious life!
Wrong it means no kids....😂
Australia you dont need to build credit
The other way: sell drugs. 😎🤣
Yeeeeeaaaah no 🤣
Get a well paying job 😂😂
You're so cute !
LoL
Drug dealer 😉
So basically you were able to get what you have by taking from others. Got it. Gotta love car stealerships. That’s why I will never ever shop at one again. God bless Tesla.
False. But thanks for watching
Weird comment
Living below your means! You should accumulate bitcoin while it's below $70k! I sold my 2018 ZL1 Camaro in 2021 to buy more BTC (not saying you should)! You're killing it with having a house etc! Great job!
Wait for it to fall to 10-20k again then buy 1
