Yeah we try to give them room on our mules. And the close up footage is with our 600mm zoom lens. We had to ride a little close to some bulls and some cows in a storm but did the best we could to go around. They have a roundup every year on horses so the buffalo seem to respect them well. Still we weren’t going to push it, we felt no need to. ☺️👍🏼
Stunning video. There is not enough Peace / Quiet in our modern world. Your videos are spot on!! 😊 Mule riding is good for the soul!! 💘 my mules. Had horses for decades but mules are even more special to me.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I totally agree… there’s nothing more refreshing than a nice ride through pretty country. We’re so thankful for our mules and for the ability to get out and ride 😊❤️
Love your films from the Black Hills.❤️. I am wondering what the difference is in the feel when riding a mule and horse, please? IMy experience is with Quarter Horses.😊. Keep the advebtures coming 👍💕
Awesome! Thank you for taking time to watch our videos 😊 I’d say the main difference is that you can feel the mule pick their way through rough terrain… they rarely stumble over downfall and rocks like horses tend to do 😊 That being said, some horses are incredible at picking their way through rough country too!
How peaceful to watch. Your buckskin mule, what is his breeding, I'm asking because of the leg patterns. And the mob of horses, were they mustangs? Tracey (Australia)
Thank you for taking time to watch! The dun mule is out of a quarter horse and a mammoth jack 😊 She just turned out with amazing striping. And yep! Those were all mustangs 😊
Yes, that’s definitely in the works! We’ve been getting a lot of requests for that. And thank you for the kind words and for taking time to watch our video 😊 We really appreciate it!
I don't go in for this kind of thing but I gave you a like anyway also I have been getting a lot of similar videos about mules horses mountain excursions which I didn't want but I understand once you subscribe everyone connected to your site comes the way of the subscriber

I’m not really big on videos without narration. However, the pretty country was worth the viewing. I’m looking forward to more videos.
Thank you! We’ll be putting out more with narration hopefully pretty soon 😊
