"I want to do this series because I hope that it will inspire people. To me it's super fascinating to take a person who is 37 years old, (I've been skateboarding for 27 years) to take a person who has been skateboarding Street for 27 years and just throw them in the vert ramp. So I'm going to do my best to take you through my thoughts, my fears, my emotions of this series as I learn tricks and I brought some friends." I voted for Aaron to do the series for this mindset alone. I'm 35 so seeing him this deep into his career and to learn a crazy ramp like this now is inspiring and super entertaining. I can't be the only one to want to sing 'this girl is on fire' during his stall streak. 🔥 🔥 awesome video guys.
I did my first ever ollie today!!!! I learned quicker then expected. Its my 3rd week skating, and I only go out maybe twice a week. Now I just have to practice getting the back wheels higher.
Congrats 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 never give up. And always push yourself to learn something new every day! Even if you learn a single aspect of a trick, you're still getting closer to that make!!!
Watching Aaron Learn vert is probably one of the best videos Just because the energy Aaron has anytime he is in a video goes through the roof. You guys are all awesome, and got me back into skateboarding after 5 years of not touching a board
Pshhhh make him get a vert ramp, JD was an excuse to get a vert ramp and learn 😆, at the same time, like the rest of the park, he asks ,listens and observes his team and gives them what he can.
I love how supportive the skateboarding and BMX communities are! Everyone is always there, pushing each other to get better, hyping each other up when you're failing a trick over and over, and celebrating hard when you finnaly nail it! Keep up the great work, guys! You're all beast!
The positive energy from this video is through the roof. You know you have a formula for success when simply watching the video makes you feel pumped! I love it.
Lets goooo braille team, all of you are killing it in that vert ramp. Vert skating has always been my favorite, and now seeing my favorite skate team learning that art got me pump to get back skating!
Man I love the vert content I have been here since the beginning and this is putting new great content on the Channel. And since it new to everyone we get to watch every one progress
Once Aaron saw himself do it on Uzi's phone he realized "why am I bailing?" and he knew if he went for it he would get it. The only reason it took so long was a huge mental block. I feel like almost 70% of skating is just a mental battle and it's really interesting to see how other progress and over come it. Great job Aaron keep killing it!
It is such a cool concept: the teacher becoming the student! We can see that the struggle is real and perhaps a little odd to say but we do get inspired by that. There were a lot of useful tips along the way. It was a great first episode! Thank you for inspiring and entertaining us!
11 years old 11years strong should stay with Braille for ever from now on. I love this little man, the way he speaks, his sense of humor it’s so great. I mean he’s a Braille Kid 🤟
I love this video. Watching the 726th switch treflip on a broomstick with wheels down the Braille drop is one thing, but seeing Aaron struggle with basic vert tricks, overcoming fear and well known doubts, is a whole new level of inspiration. Well done. Thank you.
I have been watching braille for years now and yall never cease to impress! It's been awesome watching yall grow and progress much love from the east coast ya'll!
I’ve been skateboarding for around a year, but I haven’t learned any tricks, but a few days ago I started learning an ollie, your videos have helped a lot.
We need to see this weekly :) also could we see a Troy skates series!! He’s such a humble guy, does a lot for the team and would love to see him skate again and learn some new stuff, like if you agree.
I think working on different ways to drop in will help him developer a stronger sense of comfortability with the ramp, and, in the long run, allow him to feel more relaxed so that his nerves aren’t preventing him from FULLY enjoying himself. Thanks to all y’all for being awesome! AARON YOURE A FRIGGIN’ G! Do work, son! Do work! Keep it up man! Really lookin forward to more of these!
Definitely inspirational man. Glad to know I ain't the only one truly terrified of dropping in. Had a bad time in my 20s on a quarter pipe and could never quite do it. Awesome to see you overcome the beast. Loving JD's encouragement too.
18:20 I can see the anger being held in. i know that exact thought in his head like "i know I can do this and i want it, but my mind bails last second every time! WHY?!" i hate getting in my head on a trick like that. Just frustrating.
Aaron, watching you learn to skate vert is definitely inspiring me! I wish I could give this video more thumbs up. Watching all of you skate the vert ramp is SO fun! i can't stop smiling when Aaron is riding the ramp, and watching him battle that tail stall reminded me of skating ramps with my friends when we were younger. JD is an awesome part of the crew too, i love what he is bringing to the videos. You guys have kept it interesting and I know the fans have their favorites, but this is the most stoked I've been watching a braille video in a long time. Looking forward to all the vert content!
Absolutely amazing seeing Aaron push his inner skate mentality during this video! Reminds me of yesterday when I did my first fakie Ollie and I just wanted to keep on going!!
Aaron's nervous energy in this while going for the stall made me laugh numerous times during this, but serious steps were made today. He's definitely getting visibly more comfortable throughout the video though and this one felt well deserved when he finally got it.
Wow what a mental roller coaster learning Vert must be man , Kyro much respect for even trying and risking your neck for the channel your seriously a bad dude bro! You'll be mctwisting in no time
5 years ago Aaron dropped in and said "I dropped in, my vert career is over". 5 years ago JD dropped in and said "I dropped in, my vert career is just beginning".
One of the best series in a while!! Lots of people in their 40s, even 50s, are approaching the sport! You could even get the longboard and surfskate scenes involved!
What trick should Aaron Learn in Episode 2?! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Imagine being pinned by brail
BS 180 lol
Roll in
front flip lol
A hand plant or whatever it is called i cant remeber
Aaron: GRIND???
JD: Almost
Repeat 5-10 times

I saw Aaron get really serious after so many trips up those stairs. And he did it! That was so satisfying to watch. Love you guys
Thank you! 🙌
I'm so proud of Aaron for doing this series! It's not easy to just get up and start skating vert when you're an octogenarian.
Thanks!🙌
Aaron, did you ever think you would have an 11 year old in the Braille team, making you get a vert ramp 😂
Definitely not!
Pshhhh make him get a vert ramp, JD was an excuse to get a vert ramp and learn 😆, at the same time, like the rest of the park, he asks ,listens and observes his team and gives them what he can.
