My point is the both of you CAN do great things if you think you can but if you think you can't...it will always end in failure. Have faith my braille brothers 😎👏❤🔥 great job guys.

I still vividly remember Andy Mac doing a Triple Kickflip Indy on vert at a contest in Oceanside, California back in like 2001 or 2002. He went like 9 feet out to get enough air time to get the board to flip three times. The cool part was the contest was over. It was getting late, the sun was going down, and he kept trying it just because he wanted to make it, and he did. I wish I would have got it on video, because I’ve never seen anyone else do it before or since.

Andy's finesse makes it look very achievable although it does disguise the complexity of what is actually involved. Its is very inspirational to watch! For me the physics and fear makes those subtle movements (used to achieve a backside air) extremely difficult. Andy is one of my hero's and his instructional video on vert skating is the reason I can skate a vert ramp, thank you Andy love you man. For me attaining a backside came by using a melon early grab and working my way up the wall. Of course everyone's body and proprioception is different. Can anyone please tell me how big the Braille Skateboarding vert ramp in this footage is?

I’ve got messed up knees and hips now even though I’m only 28, but I miss skating. Haven’t skated in a couple of years, and it’s been over 10 since I skated at all consistently. I don’t wanna do stairs and big drops or little handrails like I did in my teens, but watching an older guy (sorry Aaron! Just a little older!) carving on a nice vert ramp like that made me genuinely jones to get out and carve some transitions. Especially when you look at how healthy guys like Tony Hawk and Andy Macdonald are compared to street guys of comparable age, (Chad Muska for instance) it seems like vert is just much nicer to your body over time. Seeing them slide down on their knee pads and decelerate properly instead of slamming into concrete like you do jumping down stairs just looks so much healthier for your joints.
