Today I share with you my method of making beef potjiekos. Potjiekos literally translated "small-pot food" and is a dish prepared outdoors over hot coals. It is traditionally cooked in a round, cast iron, three-legged cauldron, named a. potjie.
Serve a traditional South African dish at your next social event. Generally when I make a potjie I use any type of vegetables that I have in the house. For best results slow cook over hot coals and stir as little as possible.
