    Fantastic Chetna! I run and cycle a fair bit, also live on a plant based diet (been a lacto-vegetarian for years) I am 59 so my muscles have withered a way so a bit of light weight training is on the horizon! My go to Indian food recipes are your ones.

    This looks like a delicious change from all the rich holiday meals. Making it this week as I love to have at least one vegetarian meal every week. The fact that it's a fast meal is a bonus. Thanks as always Chetna! Since following you, I have really embraced Indian recipes as part of my weekly rotation. In fact, our Christmas Day roast chicken was your Masala roast chicken made by my cousin. Delicious!👌

    I can't usually find ready chaat masala but, thankfully, your amazing book chai, chaat and chutney has a recipe for it so I've got it covered. All I need now is a good, practical, easy recipe for tandoori masala and I think I've got all my bases covered.

    Is there a recipe on the channel for chaat masala? I'm not too sure I've seen one some time ago. I've searched over the internet a recipe for chaat and I found out rather different combinations of spices. Thanks in advance.

    Need to cook that ASAP 🥰
    I have a question considering your whole moong dosa recipe in one of your books - was so proud of myself that I didn’t forget to soak the lentils & rice over night - but guess the bowl way way too small 😄 (it was still lovely, just not as smooth of a batter as seen in the pic or what I remember by having tasted a dosa in the UK) what ratio would you recommend?
    (It was part of my new years feast with a good friend, along with one of your dal‘s with roasted veggies and masala paneer and some chutneys & raita - best start for a new year ever 🥰 Thank you so much! My best wishes to you and your loved ones!)

    • @FoodwithChetna
      @FoodwithChetna  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Juliette. The whole moong dal dosa is very different to normal dosa which is made with rice and super cripsy. The batter however could be smoother if you blitz it a bit more. So glad you enjoyed the feast. Happy new year to you too

    Nice recipe, instead of chilli oil I would give it a topping of tadka, oil, dried red chillies and curry leaves and perhaps some more crushed garlic

    • @FoodwithChetna
      @FoodwithChetna  ปีที่แล้ว

      But I use tadka for most of my dal recipes and I wanted this to taste different
