Hi @ryan10001 , Greetings of the day.
It is essential to recognize that the Quranic text has layers of meaning, and different scholars have provided various interpretations over centuries. While some scholars have interpreted the verse as referring to the setting place of stars or their positions in the sky, these are not the only possible interpretations. The beauty of the Quran lies in its depth and the way it continues to reveal new insights as human knowledge progresses.
This is the beauty & Majesty of a Divine Revelation that it is universal, it contains all the meanings for the coming generations. That is for the previous human generations this verse was giving a sense as per their time, and for us again, the verse has the capacity that it gives new meaning as per our modern understanding of science.
As for your remarks “Scholars have interpretated the verse as the setting place of stars in the horizon after they rise and set. Or, some scholars have interpreted it as the overall postion of the stars in the sky.”
Kindly note that all these scholars were either of past era or not aware of the modern scientific knowledge, Their translations can actually cause young and intelligent Muslims to go away from religion. We all know that there is no setting place of Sun and Stars and their disappearing or setting is actually only by rotation of Earth while they are visible on the other global half. Secondly this verse of Quran clearly indicating towards something strange and unusual as it is accompanied by verse 76 with the words and a swear by God that Indeed it is a Mighty Oath if we humans could know.
Just ask those scholars to give a single satisfactory answer that why Allah used ٧٦ وَإِنَّهُ لَقَسَمٌ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيم “And indeed, it is a mighty oath - if you could know” If it is just a routine thing like daily setting and rising of stars.
As for you remarks “ This could cause crisis in faith for new Muslims as they are exposed to alternate point of views and might push Non-Muslims further away, as they might start thinking that Muslims only stretch and message the words from the Quran into matching the scientific discoveries of the time.”
Many articles on the site thelastdialogue.org have been crafted in response to inquiries from concerned Muslims worldwide. Specially check below four articles.
Petra vs Mecca, was penned in response to hundreds of emails pouring in from Australia, Europe, and the USA. Dan Gibson's assertion on this matter had been leading many Muslims towards atheism and apostasy, prompting a need for clarification. This work was to save Muslims from the biggest Trial of our times. When I wrote this 4 years back.... there was not even a single voice against this Propganda from any muslim Scholar.
All this work of mine is purely for the revival of Muslims and I only spend on this and not take anything from people. Just for your information The Last Dialogue (www.thelastdialogue.org) has thousands of citations in Wikipedia, Reddit, Quora and many sites of Jews, Christians & Muslim scholars. This site has been visited more than that of any other religious website. As a scientist (PhD in astrophysics, who has read the Quran several times, as well as numerous tafsirs and sahih hadiths), I would not consider the "layers of meaning" and "various interpretations" as a beautiful thing. I would consider is a huge weakness because it is not specific and hence can be fit to anything. Notice that no Muslim has EVER made any scientific discovery thanks to the Quran, but when the kufar make discoveries, Muslims are quick to run and point out that these things were always in the "clear Quran" and any with an "open heart" can see them. What is needed is an open mind, to realize that it's an ancient text full of ancient myths, legends and ideas. The tafsir scholars almost always explain the verses in the way that these stories were understood at the time, only now do people try to change their meaning.

Thanks for the compliment, If you want to do something significant for religion, it is a prerequisite to understand Quran and other Holy books. You can limit yourself to Quran as this is what required to dialogue with Muslims. There was years of research of Quran behind this, and all was planned and managed well before its execution.
Dig deeper in the words of God. Just follow the methodology I used in Quran Miracles section where in the bottom I provided the meaning of important words used in that particular verse. Trust me there in no single word in the Quran that doesn't has miracle and pearls of wisdom in it

My brother in Islam, with all due respect, I want say that the verse quotes in the video can be interpreted differently and that we should refrain from making such claims.
Scholars have interpretated the verse as the setting place of stars in the horizon after they rise and set. Or, some scholars have interpreted it as the overall postion of the stars in the sky.
The concept of this verse referring to blackholes is NOT mainstream nor backed by enough evidence if any to begin with.
Dear brother, please refrain from making videos like this. Claims like this based on weak evidence and only cause confusion and may even undermine the REAL miracles of the Quran in the eyes of Non-Muslims and new reverts. This could cause crisis in faith for new Muslims as they are exposed to alternate point of views and might push Non-Muslims further away, as they might start thinking that Muslims only stretch and message the words from the Quran into matching the scientific discoveries of the time.

@TheLastDialogue1 Assalamualaikum, thanks for taking the time out of your day to respond to me. I have read your full response, and I must agree that you have raised some valid points. Since the Quran is a Divine book from Allah to humanity for all times, we should also take into account the modern interpretation of verses in the light of the science of the time.
BUT, we should NOT get carried away in our interpretation and establish that it is the only valid interpretation. I personally think it is better to inform the audience of other possible interpretations and then to state your reasons to believe that it is related to blackholes and not the other factors from other interpretations.
It makes me overjoyed to hear that a person from the ummah is writing books about the scientific miracles of the Quran and helping many people to get over their doubts about Islam.
I am recommending the inclusion of other possible interpretations of the verses and having academic discussions in the video to express why one interpretation is more prevalent than others.
I am just saying, "Let the people know." Inform people of other possible interpretations. Otherwise, it might cast doubts on individuals on the virility of Islam when they hear competing interpretations, ESPECIALLY from the critics of Islam. This might even lead them to believe that all miracles are just stretched modern interpretations forced on the Quran, which is obviously not true.
