Hi, great video. I'm thinking of getting the machine and start my own embroidery hobby at home. I will keep watching your channel for more tips about the XTS and how to use it. Thank you for making the video.
Great video. I think this video will open the eyes to new generation entrepreneurs and all the beautiful people that love electronics. As an owner of one of these machines, I understand what motivates you to evolve and make your environment more versatile, working more efficiently. Having a display attached to the Amaya is excellent. Because the machine runs by itself, and if there is something to correct, the error message is right next to you at the touch of your fingerprints. You are right, the Amaya XTS already evolve and now is know as Melco EMT_16X, but the core of the machine is just the same. Same power, same result, outstanding performance under proper care.
Thank you for your comments. I do enjoy sharing what little knowledge I have with others. One of my good friends it's an Amaya tech and thanks to her she has been able to keep me in the loop and showed me the new Amaya OS 11 and Design shop 10. The newer features of OS 11 would have complimented my design a lot better. Maybe someday I might think about buying another machine.
Hello Condor! Thank you so much for this video, I'm struggling to try and operate my Amaya machine that I recently bought second hand. In terms of creating a wireless digitizer, are the dongles and the keys still necessary in order for the machine to operate? Those are the two things that didn't come with the machine when I bought it and didn't know how important they were until after.
There are 2 dongles but only 1 is needed to run the machine. Did they give you a copy of Amaya OS when you got that machine because if they did you should have received the dongle for it. If I remember correctly the Amaya machine will be highly crippled without it and not run properly. You have only a few choices, one you contact Melco and see if they can sell you a new Amaya package or try and find someone selling a used version which i doubt you will find. Now you mentioned digitizer. Did you get a copy of design shop with that machine? If you did without a dongle you basically have a digitizing software package that won't run. If that's the case you have the same options as above. I don't want to try and scare you but be prepared as design shop is VERY expensive. I wish you all the luck in the world as you have an amazing machine and one of not the best manufactured machine I've ever seen. Also feel free to ask me any questions.
I would of I could. Nothing would make me happier than to help a fellow Melco owner. Several things prevent me from doing this however. I am no longer in a position to be able to afford getting the parts I would need which are now different models and upgraded and need new modifications. I also don't have my machine anymore 😭 as I've had to sell it due to certain world events. Also the original design did have a few flaws that appeared after long continued use and I realized the 7 inch touch screen was a bit too small for my old tired eyes. A 10 inch would be better but that adds some altering and modifications and added weight that I'm not sure my 3d printed support bar could support. Shame really since the new Amaya OS 11 has a new GUI interface that supports touch screen much better. However, I will keep this in the back off my head in the future since I know a Melco repair tech personally and perhaps if I can find the time maybe I can experiment with thier machine.
