    To recap
Blue wire- goes to ignition switch (remote turn on)
Red wire- positive (connect to fuse)
Yellow wire- constant power (directly to positive on battery)
    Black wire- grounded to metal

I have the same problem with Pioneer avh-x2600bt you can try to switch the wires that helps some radios (mostly single din) but if anyone knows how to have your radio settings saved and not completely drain your battery on a 2006 jetta with a Pioneer avh-x2600bt that would be appreciated.

I’m glad this lil video helped! Most of them are like that. But these old old cars have to be wired directly to the right spot. It was cool to learn how it all works

Brilliant Six Star video ! Thank you sooo much! Very Grateful for your kindness...that having solved a difficult ( to me impossible seeming) problem ...that You have then taken the time and trouble to make this video and help People like me Solve this very annoying glitch with expensive sound system in their own cars...
in regard to negative comments ..Well ..in my view you have shown your true colours by your actions ...sadly some people only see surface and do not seem to engage brain before leaving comments ....swearing does not bother me personally however even if it did ...I hope I should never be so rude as to mention it after some one had been as helpful as you ...and to be fair ...she was not really mean ...just downgraded you a star so I'm giving a six star review to redress the balance.:)

That sounds like a nightmare. Something is not right if every wire is the same color
